What's louder than a lawnmower, makes more noise than a lorry thundering down a motorway - oh, and vibrates too?

The world’s loudest alarm clock.

At an ear-splitting 90 decibels, the TLC 200 is aimed at Britain’s nine million hard-of-*hearing who find it impossible to wake up to a regular alarm clock or radio.
Alarming: At an ear-splitting 90 decibels, the TLC 200 works by simply setting the alarm and popping the *vibrating pad that comes with it under your pillow

So how does it work? Simply set the alarm, which costs £40 from *specialist websites, and pop the *vibrating pad that comes with it under your pillow.

When it goes off in the morning, the clock sends a wireless signal to the pad, which will vibrate and help to shake you awake.

The alarm can also be plugged into your *telephone to amplify the ringing sound.

There’s just one problem. The alarm is SO loud (only 30 decibels quieter than an ambulance) that it might wake your neighbours, too.

That said, at least you won’t be able to hear them banging on the front door to complain.
