Recommend a cheap red dot sight please

Can anyone recommend a cheap (>$300 or even $200) sight?

I want something that is weaver/picatinny mountable, to sit at the front end of an assault rifle over the gas tube.

MOA is important, but working within the price parameters I am looking at, there is give and take.

You can either get quality which will run at least twice your budget or get Chicom knockoffs for < 100. I'm not aware of anything in the middle, but maybe there is.

I'm guessing you haven't bothered to look on feebay.

There's Nikon, Burris, BSA, IOR Valdada, etc. in your price range.

IOR Valdada is high quality kit, a good value imo.

Personally I'm a big Aimpoint fan. There are Aimpoint M2s on feebay close to your price range.
