i'm supposed to be uploading a video i had made for a client to their newly created account.

MFer times out every time i try to upload anything. tried all of the uploaders, switched connections, switched between a mac + pc, etc.

is their some sort of voodoo magic you have to do to get it to work?

I heard that drinking two glasses of wine a day can help in certain cases of skinny bandwidth.

That's it, my son uploads jewtube and if he uses the wireless it always fails so he only uploads hard wire.

If you're using .mov it won't work, convert it to .mp4 ;)

Check your resolution. That's usually a problem.

Recommended settings are:

640x480 (SD) or 1280x720 (HD) for 4:3 & 16:9 aspect ratios.

Try encoding with "Windows Live Movie Maker". It's almost always already on your computer if you have Windows. The latest version has an idiot proof way of formatting and uploading to YouTube directly from the program, with a giant "YouTube" logo (top of the screen, in the area called "Sharing".)

Actually Ximmy, I generally don't offer advice unless I know what I'm talking about, and when I don't know what I'm talking about I'll admit it and offer them good luck.
