People love that security ladies and gentleman. Everyone(well almost everyone) over 60 years of age thinks its a great idea.

Our government is broken.

I find it distressing that everyone is overlooking this.

What I want to know is how do we the people get the chance to just keep voting over and over until we get the results we wanted :-\

As I understand it, the GOP tried to ram the bill through on Tuesday with a super-majority vote which is 2/3rds. Super-majority votes are supposed to be reserved for non-controversial bills, that are expected to pass without debate.

Today's vote was a procedural vote to bring the bill to the floor again requiring only a simple majority to pass it. However, I believe a majority vote gets to be debated.

Edited to add: From the link - BILL TITLE: Providing for consideration of H.R. 514,

there is no reforming the system. The Elite move forward I crementally every day tightening the noose.
Our only hope is that when the dollar collapses, all of the nameless minions that build this beast will tear it down in their anger stage of awakening.

It is going the be a great show where more news will happen in weeks than in past decades.

I see that Ron Paul was 1 of only 4 Republicans to vote against it.

I think you're talking about his son Rand Paul.

He was one of 4 republican Senators to vote against it.

I think Ron Paul is Congress and Rand Paul is Senate

If I'm not mistaken Congress did the vote to consider the bill but the bill hasn't passed yet
