I am just posting parts of the article.

Television – The Unreality of Your Tube – The Finest Propaganda Your License Can Buy! (http://oneworldscam.com/?p=12498)

What is it that makes people switch on a TV first thing in the morning as soon as they get up? Is it habit or is there something else going on here?
Are these people just conditioned to automatically reach for the remote control in the morning or are they genuinely interested in what the TV has to tell them and if so why?

If it is indeed an automatic reflex one has to wonder what it is that has brought people to behave in such an irrational manner. It doesn’t make sense to switch on a TV then go for a stroll through your home when you can’t see and I’m sure can barely hear the thing.

Let’s face it, television is portrayed as entertainment predominantly and thus it appeals to those who feel the need to be entertained. So why do people feel they need to be entertained? Is it that they are incapable of entertaining themselves, through a lack of imagination or motivation? Perhaps so, perhaps they’re just lazy and enjoy hours slumped on the sofa watching mindless programs without having to think about their own world at all. Or perhaps they fantasize about the world portrayed on TV in the vain hope that one day they too can be the latest celebrity gossip column idol with their own coterie of adoring groupies? Aren’t the next generation already being conditioned to view themselves on televisions as if it were normal to be under constant survelillance as if this were a normal state to live in, in shops, buses, on the street and even in their schools, not to mention online?

Television is simply the best propaganda tool ever invented and is used by those who wish to manipulate and control the minds of the general public who are more than willing to sacrifice their rational thought processes by voluntarily parking themselves in front of an electronic mind control box for hours at a time every day of their lives. Why do you think that every country has a state run and owned television station which is paid for by you? It doesn’t stop at state run TV of course as every commercial channel is also used in the same way to propagandise you through its ‘programmes’. They’ve been called ‘programmes’ since the advent of television which should at least cause you to wonder why this word was chosen at all. After all, ‘programmes’ are used to program!

Is it any wonder that the vast majority of people hold almost the exact same points of view on almost any topic? There may be slight variations, such as apparently opposing sides of a political debate for example, but those sides have already been well chosen in advance and any ‘debate’ which is orchestrated on television is simply acted out to insure that the general public never move beyond the argument, or stray outside the controlled and widely televised ‘box’.

But what are you being ‘programmed’ for?

A rather simplistic, but nonetheless true answer, is that these ‘programmes’ are used to form your opinions, ideas and values in terms of morality, religious belief etc. and to impose a view of the world on you which without any other means of investigation you will simply embed in your mind which will in turn act upon your own thought processes and therefore form your opinions. These are then checked by so called ‘opinion polls’ which in themselves form part of the ‘programming’ to imply that whatever the result poll must be true. That’s not to say that the poll actually ever took place. I’ve personally never met anyone who took part in or conducted one, but maybe I’m just lucky.

Polls are in fact used to determine whether the propaganda machine is getting the message across and if not then how to restructure the message to ensure public opinion forms in the correct direction in which those, in whose interests it is, want you to go. Television is not the only propaganda tool, it is simply the best. The mainstream print media, the film industry, novelists etc. all have their role to play too.

Without a scared population a government has little control. It is therefore in their interests to ensure fear is disseminated into the public psyche by way of television in particular which has a unique position in being able to influence you and your perceptions of the world through repeated news broadcasts on various ‘channels’ all reading from the same script. The word ‘channel’ can of course be linked directly to ‘programming’. The ‘programmes’ are ‘channeled’ into your mind.

I don’t think anyone truly believes that society has improved in their lifetimes unless they judge improvement in terms of materialistic wealth which in itself was promoted by the advent of television advertising where wants were created over needs.
Society has not only been degraded by television and the wider media but has also been downgraded in terms of what has happened to the intellectual ability and capacity of the general public to think for themselves and to avoid the pitfalls of propaganda which at one time or another we must all admit we’ve fallen for. It’s time to switch it off.

Without television we wouldn't know why this was happening would we not? Without television we would be talking to our neighbours and meeting friends to discuss whatever is happening in your own locality and asking questions of local political ‘leaders’ when things went wrong. You would be more likely to see the world around you, not as it’s portrayed through monopolistic media outlets such as Sky TV or the BBC. You might actually have to retune your mind and train yourself to think again.

Thinking in itself seems to be a dying art when we hear nothing but discussions taking place in the local bar or supermarket about who did what and where and to who in TV soap operas or cries of ‘Oh that’s terrible, did you see such and such on the news?’
Unless the public start to see the television through different eyes, namely those of the propagandists who run the ‘entertainment’ industry, then they will simply be the sheep in the paddock for the wolves to salivate over, picking them off one by one with promises of impending doom and gloom or riches beyond their dreams.

I edited the blue line. The original made no sense. I think I corrected it to the author's intent. I found quite a few grammatical errors. I'm no wordsmith myself, but for such a good article (imho) there are way too many. See if you can find the 73 word run on sentence.

So what do think the sheeple would say to this?

The human brain goes into a 'receiving' state while watching TV. Unlike reading a book, or listening to the radio, both which require your brain to constantly be calculating, thinking, solving and imagining.

The social engineers have known this since the invention of the flicker rate....

While in your 'receptive state' your subconscious is being bombarded with information that your conscious mind does not sift through, analyze, criticize, ect.
