What interesting is how fast they pan away when he makes the all seeing eye symbol at 1:33 (damn 33)

The paranoia is in bloom, the PR
The transmissions will resume
They'll try to push drugs
Keep us all dumbed down and hope that
We will never see the truth around
(So come on!)
Another promise, another scene, another
A package not to keep us trapped in greed
With all the green belts wrapped around our minds
And endless red tape to keep the truth confined
(So come on!)
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
Interchanging mind control
Come let the revolution take its toll if you could
Flick the switch and open your third eye, you'd see that
We should never be afraid to die
(So come on!)
Rise up and take the power back, it's time that
The fat cats had a heart attack, you know that
Their time is coming to an end
We have to unify and watch our flag ascend
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
Hey .. hey ... hey .. hey!
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
Hey .. hey ... hey .. hey!

One of my favorite songs. Check out makeshift patriot and slow down gandhi by sage Francis, uncle Sam ******* and letter from the president by brother Ali, square dance by
Eminem, handlebars by the flobots, nocturnal rainbow by hopsin and Words I never said by lupe fiasco.

Surely it's just coincidence that they pan away so quickly just as he does that, right. :sarc:

I've been thinking about this, and about how the PTB through their minions control actors and musicians in the industry after watching The Actor's Studio interview with Johnny Depp (http://www.johnnydeppfan.com/interviews/ias.htm) on Netflix last night.
He said some interesting things about being exploited and turned into a product:
JL [James Lipton, interviewer]: And it's no secret that Johnny became, during that time [on the 21 Jump Street show], a teen idol. Perhaps to some of the people in this audience. Did you find it easy to shed that teen idol image?
JD: Oh no, they wanted me to stay on that road, definitely. It was so bizarre, because I'd been turned into this project, which, you know, had nothing to do with me.
JL: What dictates your choice of projects and roles, Johnny? [Notice how Lipton completely ignores this comment and changes the subject.]
JD: You know, the element of surprise, really.
JL: It's no secret to this audience that tonight we have the biggest crowd we've ever had here in nearly eight years … It was bedlam for a little while, people trying to get in.
JD: I think there was some mistake.
JL: Not at all.
JD: Maybe a misspelling.
JL: No, I think that it has to do with what we're talking about now. You avoided the path that 99.9% of actors yearn for, which is to go to traditional leading man roles. Was that deliberate? You could easily … I mean, you're so much better looking than I am …
JD: That's very kind of you to say.
JL: Which is as delicately as I can put it … You could so easily have taken that path, and I'm sure you were offered role after role that requires certain male beauty, and you've deliberately taken another path.
JD: Some people call it ignorance!
JL: No … nobody in THIS room.
JD: I was so uncomfortable being a product and someone else's product, and I didn't … I couldn't stand it … it was claustrophobic, um, so I swore to myself that I wouldn't …. I would choose my own path and I wouldn't deviate in any way, and if I failed, I failed but I tried, and I figured I could always, you know, go back to, you know, playing guitar or pumping gas or something.
JL: You've described a unified link between your movies as "being addicted to losers."[Again, Lipton doesn't address at all the issue of being turned into a product.]
[...]
Student #3: Thanks! And a whole bunch of us are … it's a miracle! Um, is there any advice that you might want to share with us about, just like, you know, not only what to expect but maybe a way to just begin the whole … the birth of our acting experiences, and, if you don't mind sharing the history of those boots? I'm totally fascinated.
JD: My old friends. These are my old pals. We've been through a lot together. Boy! Getting started. One of the greatest pieces of advice I've ever gotten in my life was from my Mom, you know, when I was a little kid there was a kid who was bugging me, you know, in school. And she said, "Okay, I'm going to tell you what to do." She said, "The kid's bugging you. He puts his hands on you, you pick up the nearest rock, or whatever you can get your hands on, and you lay him out." And I did! And I felt better. And it worked. And … so, for me, that was a great lesson because someone had invaded my space … invaded my being, you know … and was doing something against me that I didn't want to be done, so I took control of the situation and I ran with it, and many years later after being, you know, turned into a product, you know, by a very huge corporation that had their hands all over me and I couldn't escape it, you know, I promised myself that I would continue to move forward and do my best not to compromise in any way whatsoever, you know, not allow anyone to put their hands on me and affect me in that way so, that's the best advice that I could give is just to keep moving forward, and don't give a shit what anybody thinks, you know, just keep moving forward and do what you have to do for you.
When he says a corporation had its hands all over him, in this context it seems pretty creepy, like someone (or more than one person) actually laid his/her/their hands on him, perhaps sexually.

Listen to ANY muse song.
They fucking HATE the illuminati.
And they're basically the most popular band in the world right now. They're huge all over europe and asia. I saw them when they came to LA, people everywhere.

Did you get a chance to read the Laurel Canyon story? A lot of those artists who were singing songs against the war were involved in formenting it just a few years before.
I'm surprised anyone here trusts anything presented to them by the mass media. I don't want to sound like a jerk, but don't you get it yet?
Ok, I did sound like a jerk, but it was kind of a serious question. I think it's hard for people to realize that mostly everything around them, especially associated with the mass media, is engineered. Nothing is coincidence. You see and hear what is intended for you to see and hear.
So......how 'bout that silver eh? ;D

I read the Laurel Canyon story. In fact, I basically put life on hold for several hours a day for two days while I devoured it. Fascinating and super creepy!

I found it shocking too k-os. The thing that grabs me when I contemplate the music scene is how far our discernment has eroded from 30 years ago. Our parents knew there was something wrong with the likes of Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper and the rest. We laughed it off. Now there are guys like Eminem singing about killing his girlfriend, or other bands singing about mass murder of the public, and the public forum finds it quite socially acceptable. Is there any wonder society is in the shape it is in. We are a reflection of our beliefs, and when we believe hate and murder is acceptable, we look incredibly ugly.
I'm glad you enjoyed that documentary, as did I. It's a real eye opener to what the world really intends for us as individuals.

I have been suspicious of the motivation behind that songs since the first time I heard it and payed attention to the lyrics. Knowing how the conspirators play both sides of the fence, and knowing how the Beatles were a tavistock-issued brainwashing tool, and knowing that there is a story behind Laurel Canyon (Which I have yet to read), nothing gets by me without scrutiny.
On the surface they look sound like anti-establishment revolutionaries, but I watched the video once, and the blood-red dollar bills and the fire and crumbling didn't sit right with me.
