Breaking news.

Judges also rule that you can demand a officers badge number if engaged in misconduct and charges will be held until the matter is fully investigated.

In my state (Massachusettes) filming a police officer will earn you a felony charge.

question for you. let's say there is a police chase or whatever, and one of those tv helicopter crews is covering it. the tv crew gets charged with a felony? how does that work?

I suspect you already know the answer. Of course the crew doesn't get charged. Just like the cops don't get charged when they videotape DWI field sobriety tests, even though the supposed premise for the charge is that Massachusettes is a 2 party state (meaning both parties must agree to be recorded). Selective enforcement is one of the bad guys most potent and effective weapons.
