Facebook & Google are CIA Fronts

facebook-CIA.gifIn the case of both Google and Facebook, three talented students in their 20's came out of obscurity to establish multi-billion dollar enterprises. Do you suppose they had some help?

BY SANDEEP PARWAGA
(FOR HENRYMAKOW.COM)

There used to be a saying: ''No one makes a name for himself without giving something up''

As a youngster, I was awed by people who ''made it to the top'' by creating and innovating corporations, technologies, or simply establishing themselves through sports, music, entertainment, etc. thus becoming millionaires.

Now as I have grown older, I realize how illusory this paradigm really is. I came to the conclusion that if you want to reach the ''top',' you have to give up your soul.

Take Mark Zuckerberg for example. He is one of the most ''successful entrepreneurs'' in the last decade. Having made a fortune through his Facebook empire, he reaches more than 500 million people worldwide. It seems like a fairytale. A student creates a new interface to connect the people throughout the world. Well, it sounds great doesn't it? It would, if we were true.

Here is a good video that demonstrates that Facebook was indirectly funded by the CIA with the goal of learning and storing everything there is to know about you. Why? To monitor and ultimately control.

Again, the people have been totally duped by the Facebook-mania and can only see what they are told to see. As my friends say: ''It is to connect people and share information''. In the wake of the recent crisis in Egypt, we might add that Facebook has become not just a data-mining operation, but also a soft power proxy for crisis-creation.

Let's look at headlines that should cast no doubt about the true character of CIAbook:

These are links....

Facebook's Zuckerberg Says The Age of Privacy is Over -

Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg says privacy is no longer a 'social norm'

Facebook - the CIA conspiracy

The Face of Facebook - (Pay particular notice to the IMs that got leaked and confirmed to be true by the New Yorker)

Facebook & Social Media: A Convenient Cover For Spying -

US spies invest in internet monitoring technology - Quoted from this article: ''In an attempt to sift through the blizzard of information, the investment arm of the CIA, In-Q-Tel, has invested in a software firm that monitors social media.''

Nihilists of The World Unite: Wikileaks Is The "Cognitive Infiltration" Operation Demanded by Cass Sunstein -

TIME Mag Person of the Year 2010 - This link is just a mere reminder of past history and the perversion of ''honoring''those who don't deserve it. Would you like to share this front cover with Hitler, Stalin, Kissinger, etc.? I sure wouldn't. Obviously Zuckerberg has done something ''great''. Just my 2 cents about this garbage.

google-nsa-665.jpgGOOGLE

Google has come under scrutiny over its attempt to eliminate competing search engines and block ''controversial'' sites and people, but the biggest controversy came over its alleged ties to the CIA and NSA.

Google founders Sergey M. Brin and Lawrence E. Page are portrayed as average folks, Stanford University students, who teamed up to create a ''superior search engine''. Their attempt to do just that turned out to be so successful that they started to get funding from big players, for example Sun Microsystems. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergey_Brin#Search_engine_development)

It can be assumed that the CIA and NSA funded them as well. As in the above example of Facebook, don't forget the Google scandal connected to China last year, where Google simply evaded censorship laws by moving to Hong Kong.

The CIA might have used Google as a soft power proxy in China as well for destabilization operations. Here are a few issues that made the news regarding Google:

Tarpley: US Gov uses Google proxy to attack China - (Vid)

Google-NSA collaboration draws alarm -

Ex-Agent: CIA Seed Money Helped Launch Google -

The Google-NSA Alliance: Questions and Answers -

CONCLUSION

I admit I have Facebook. I am not particularly happy about it, but it does facilitate being connected with friends from other places. I try to keep a low profile. Don't reveal anything or don't click on trivial buttons, for example the ''Likes''.

Use alternatives to make contact if you can, e.g. email or other messengers. If you have Facebook, you have probably realized how people have literally sold their lives over to it.

Every time I see people revealing things to the finest detail, they don't think about any consequences, or let's say, they are not smart enough to care. The scientific dictatorship has done a ''good'' job in brainwashing and manipulating the masses. Don't be fooled by the deceit. The mainstream media has been very reluctant to cover the disturbing Google/Facebook ties as it would expose important assets for the Big Brother machine and its secret use to destabilize.

Zuckerberg or the Google founders would never have gotten the publicity, wealth and success without a CIA or NSA connection. To elaborate on the opening quote, I assume they have been initiated into the Illuminati Order and sold their soul.

A generation ago a similar story could have been written about 'Southern Air Transport' they came out of nowhere and somehow own or operate more C-130 aircraft than the Marine Corps. And the C-130 is a very expensive aircraft to operate and maintain. Being well connected makes such things possible.

Data mining brings up another question. Yesterday I went to Lowes to pick up a few items. I paid cash for my purchase, and then the clerk asked me for my phone number. I asked why do you want my phone number. The clerk replied, we need it in case you need to return your items. I promptly said no to the phone number, and said if I need to return something my receipt will do. The clerk looked at me funny, and she entered a bogus phone# and I went on my way.

I know of one legitimate reason: for recalls. Last year, when the big egg recall was going on, we got a robo-call from Costco about the eggs we bought. The call was within hours of me reading about the recall online. 2 or 3 days later, a letter about the eggs showed up. I'd like to think it's for our safety, but I know it's really for them to CTA legally.

Because what you are legally doing now may suddenly become "illegal." Being Japanese in the US was not illegal until WW2. When they were in the camps I bet the Japanese-Americans were very thankful that they had filled out their census forms accurately.

As pro-reform uprisings continue across the Arab world, the U.S. is stepping up its influence with anti-government activists around the world. America is using new mobile phone technology to help protest groups - and manipulating social network websites as well as Twitter with fake idenities - to spread dissent and encourage regime-change by influencing media coverage.

America is conducting a cyber-war in a bid to direct the spread of the pro-democracy movement. But as RT's Gayane Chichakyan reports, U.S intentions could easily backfire.

That would have worked 8 years ago.

However they aggregate data now. The will use your IP address and start a confluence of habits based on your online signature that you don't provide to facebook/google.

Ever notice those Google Ad's all over the place? How about the Facebook links?

Well even when you're not Phil the wine Merchant and Billboard the liberty loving private person, you happen upon scads and scads of links from facebook and google constantly.

If you don't think Google and Facebook aren't collecting IP history from sites like Zerohedge or anywhere else you're mistaken. They'll aggregate those visits, and then find out Phil is more like Billboard based on IP alone.

Of course you could still be in one big dormitory or studio apartment with the same IP address, and Google couldn't possibly know that. But as you surf you unwittingly wade through thousands of cues that tip off Google and Facebook to you're real interests, and they'll aggregate that data, and tend to weigh your search intelligence against that data. So next time they see Phil the Wine merchant they'll know that Billboard has actually been looking for deals on ammo. That's when you know you're being had. When Phil the Wine merchant starts seeing deals about Ford 150's and Fishing vacations, they already know who Phil really is.

"Who cares if I'm not doing anything illegal?"

As far as having a Facebook acct... when you know what it is, you can (sort of) manipulate the outcome...

I knew from it's inception that facebook was a datamining tool, because Brzezinski told us they would develop a massive database in such a fashion that people would willingly submit all their personal information.

I knew it from the start, and it still never stopped me from joining and telling everything about my life.

Like K-os said, most people are like "Who cares, as long as you're not doing anything illegal, you have nothing to hide", but that is not my take.

My take is "Who cares? Their plan is to kill us all off anyways, so why avoid facebook when that's not going to change things in the grand scheme anyways".

F'em.

And afa google goes, Yeah, for sure. Why else would they have a cached site of every single website ever in existance? For that matter, the real question is "HOW else", not why else.

You can't make enough money providing free search results to afford the equipment they have to backup the entire web. It's obvious they are financed externally.

I figure every search I enter, every email I send, every page I browse, every key I stroke is known to them. I am beyond hiding. We all are, imo. Maybe some computer geeks have ways to hide their ID, but I am well past that point.

Afaic no-one is truely anonymous on the internet. (Except for serious, knowledgeble hackers)

There are "things you can do".

For example, if you start with a new laptop purchased using cash, and go to a cafe with wireless Internet, you will be anonymous except for any possible surveillance video - until you use a credit card or use your email.

on your own computer, if you're at an Internet cafe and want to "go anonymous" -
A-1/ go to a website like
http://whatismyipaddress.com/
to find out your IP address.
A/ disconnect from wireless connection
B/ go into config settings for all browsers and delete ALL cookies. typically a website will have their cookies labelled - but i don't believe that Facebook etc. play by those rules.
C/ re-boot computer
D/ wait 5 minutes to re-access the wireless connection. you will probably get a different IP address.

HOWEVER - Facebook has gone beyond just using cookies. i don't know how they're doing it yet. i was sharing my views on the ADL Facebook page, and even after doing all of the above, they would not let me comment on their "wall" - even with a different Facebook identity, different email, etc.

That means they are marking the computer somewhere else besides cookies, or coordinating with my Internet provider so that even if i change IP's, they know i'm the person that previously commented on their wall.

Anybody know how Facebook/ADL has figured out "it's me", even with a different IP & complete cookie deletion ? It's possible they are using technical help at the phone company, coordinated with the help of CIA/NSA/Mossad. However, I don't think I'm at that threat level; I think it's more routine & mundane, some computer-marking technique which I haven't figured out yet.

Oh well, I have a second laptop; I'll just use that for my next visit to the Facebook ADL page.

MAC Address cloning would resolve that. A lot of the newer ethernet cards allow you to do it without having to find a software solution. I've cloned many a MAC address in my days. Can even do something creative like B0-0B-B0-0B-05 -->Boobboobs

i will have to learn how to do that.

i would need a dedicated computer anyway - a lot of my software is tied to my Ethernet ID ... if i change my MAC address, the software on the main computer won't run.

there's one program i found - for Windows XP.

think it's trustworthy ?

a whole bunch of MAC-ID changer programs. i would proceed with caution.

personally i would rather do it by using REGEDIT.

I just used the two standard ways:
1. Control Panel->device Manage->Network Adapter->Adv.->Network Address, put some values in the text box
2. Change the register key value, like link here:
http://www.windowsreference.com/networking/how-to-change-mac-address-in-windows-registry/

/\ i will try this ... but not on my main computer ... which is currently my laptop, since my main computer got a NASTY virus.

http://www.online-tech-tips.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/newmacaddress-thumb.png

more ... instead of "ipconfig /ALL" at the DOS prompt, "getmac" ... an alternative command.

using REGEDIT - precise but one wrong move and you can have big problems -
"Navigate to

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318]

This author paints this as being a 'foreign, commie-dictatorship china' thing; but the 'aware' in the west know that some variation of this with joogle/FB/YT/amazon/smartphone usage, searches, contacts, pages/videos viewed, purchases etc has long since been employed here as well-- at least china doesn't hide it!

Surely you realize, CIA/NSA/etc maintains some form of 'SCORE' on YOU ALREADY, right?

Communist China Unveils Most Orwellian Scheme Ever (http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/asia/item/22213-communist-china-unveils-most-orwellian-scheme-ever)

In what may be one of the most Orwellian schemes ever concocted by the dictatorship, all 1.3 billion victims of Communist China's mass-murdering regime will soon be given a “score” apparently measuring, among other attributes, their level of loyalty to the nation's brutal overlords. The score will also showcase how “good” each “citizen” is so everyone can be punished or rewarded accordingly.

Under a regime-sanctioned prototype of the system known as “Sesame Credit,” the credit score-style number for each Chinese subject is reportedly to be compiled based on everything from analyses of social-media profiles and book-reading choices to the “Sesame Credit” scores of friends and acquaintances. The more you love your oppression and believe your rulers, the higher your score will be. The higher the score, the more benefits you get from the regime. Ultra-slavish subjects with no "thought crimes" on record can apparently even get visas to travel to the West, according to media reports.

Critics say the scheme has the potential to make Communist China's ideological coercion and its silencing of dissent far easier than it already is — and already, dissidents are routinely tortured, disappeared (http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/asia/item/21026-chinese-tyranny-2-0), and even executed in barbaric fashion (http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/europe/item/15266-israeli-leaders-blast-chinese-regimes-organ-harvesting-persecution). Among other concerns, analysts said the ubiquitous data-gathering used to compute the scores, combined with the added social pressure to conform, could cause even more nervous would-be dissidents to keep quiet in the face of escalating tyranny.

The effort to make ruthless totalitarianism seem fun, the communist dictatorship — in partnership with regime-backed Big “Business” — is framing the insidious score as a sort of “game.” Apparently, the most compliant and happy victim of tyranny wins. Chinese subjects with high scores, for example, will reportedly find it easier to obtain permission to travel abroad, get loans, process bureaucratic paperwork, or even receive jobs.

While details about the Orwellian system remain hazy, the handful of news reports that have appeared suggest low scores could result in problems with the regime ranging from restricted Internet to lack of work. Considering the regime's history of mass murder and persecution, it is hardly a stretch to imagine low scores potentially resulting in an extended stay at one of the dictatorship's infamously brutal re-education camps for dissidents, many of whom have had their organs harvested by the regime while they were still alive (http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/europe/item/15266-israeli-leaders-blast-chinese-regimes-organ-harvesting-persecution).

The BBC reported (http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-34592186) on the outlines of the communist plot in October of 2015, comparing it to credit-scoring systems used in the West primarily to determine the creditworthiness of borrowers, just on a far more comprehensive level. What the regime in Beijing is building, however, is “taking the whole concept a few steps further,” the government-backed British broadcaster reported, drastically downplaying the differences.

“The Chinese government is building an omnipotent 'social credit' system that is meant to rate each citizen's trustworthiness,” the BBC said in one of the earliest reports on the scheme. “By 2020, everyone in China will be enrolled in a vast national database that compiles fiscal and government information, including minor traffic violations, and distills it into a single number ranking each citizen.”

It is not yet clear exactly how the “Sesame Credit” score, run by regime-backed online retailing giant Alibaba under a regime-backed “pilot project,” is calculated. The types of purchases consumers make, as well as social-media activity, are said to play a role, but analysts who have studied the system and official documents about it suggest that the truth is even more Orwellian.

Perhaps the most thorough analysis of Beijing's new system (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHcTKWiZ8sI) to rank its “citizens” was produced by a group of video game analysts as part of the “Extra Credits” video series. The short, animated film on Sesame Credit explains how the regime's obedience metrics will work, and why the scheme is so dangerous to liberty. “If you post pictures of Tiananmen Square or share a link about the recent stock market collapse, your Sesame Credit goes down,” the video narrator explains. “Share a link from the state-sponsored news agency about how good the economy is doing and your score goes up.”

Your purchases, which must of course be tracked to implement the scheme, will also play a major role in establishing your score, as Sesame Credit has been admitting for months. “If you're making purchases the state deems valuable, like work shoes or local agricultural products, your score goes up,” Extra Credits' video said. “If you import anime (cartoons) from Japan though, down the score goes.” The video also offers a great deal of insight into how the tool could be wildly effective in ratcheting up the tyranny on the long-oppressed Chinese people. Watch it below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHcTKWiZ8sI

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHcTKWiZ8sI

A “planning document” on the Orwellian plot from the communist regime's powerful State Council cited in news reports also offers additional details. The “social credit” score will “forge a public opinion environment that trust-keeping is glorious,” the official regime paper says, adding that the “new system will reward those who report acts of breach of trust.” In other words, the regime wants more snitches snitching on each other to the regime, and the snitches will be rewarded accordingly.

According to media reports, every Chinese subject and organization will be rated under the system. Certain subjects, or “citizens” as they are misleadingly referred to, in sensitive jobs such as journalism, education, or the tourism industry, will receive extra scrutiny from the system, BBC reported. Apparently the regime wants to make sure that those charged with manipulating people's hearts and minds to love their oppression are even more “loyal” than the public at large.

A massive national database will collect all of the data needed, ranging from tax information and traffic tickets to education and birth-control orders (the communist regime strictly regulates how many children each subject may have, enforcing its will through forced abortions if necessary). Because Big Dictatorship has partnered with China's regime-controlled version of Big Business on the scheme, all of the Big Data needed to build the most Orwellian tool of tyranny is already at the regime's fingertips.

Even Americans need to be concerned, though, said (https://www.aclu.org/blog/free-future/chinas-nightmarish-citizen-scores-are-warning-americans) ACLU Senior Policy Analyst Jay Stanley. “China appears to be leveraging all the tools of the information age — electronic purchasing data, social networks, algorithmic sorting — to construct the ultimate tool of social control,” he warned, cautioning that there had not been much information yet reported on the system.

“The United States is a much different place than China, and the chances that our government will explicitly launch this kind of a program any time in the near future is nil,” Stanley argued. “But there are consistent gravitational pulls toward this kind of behavior on the part of many public and private U.S. bureaucracies, and a very real danger that many of the dynamics we see in the Chinese system will emerge here over time. On the government side, for example I have written about how the TSA’s airline passenger 'whitelist' system could evolve in this direction.”

While receiving a “score” in Communist China will reportedly remain optional for the next few years, Chinese citizens are already flaunting their scores on dating sites, regime-controlled social networks, and more. However, the scheme is set to become mandatory for all Chinese subjects by 2020. And with the regime in Beijing becoming increasingly influential at the international level (http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/asia/item/21025-china-staking-claim-in-the-new-world-order), people around the world ought to be very concerned.

Yes let's get offended and horrified at a system the Chinese authorities plans to keep track of their citizens opinions, connections and activities, when most here in the west already decided to hand it over voluntarily to Zionist corporations, selling your psychological profile to anyone a) with cash and b) who furthers the Zionist one world government. We already discussed it 5 years ago here at GSUS...

It's a no brainer. As far as the Chinese action, it may backfire. People just may look at a low score as a badge of honor and those with a high score will become pariahs, except to their masters.

I was thinking about asking to see my FBI file - not the same thing as CIA/NSA/ DHS.

In the old days, domestic would have been FBI/ DHS.

Officially, CIA/NSA are focussed on overseas. For sure, they do domestic work also.

Nobody "knows" who exactly created Bitcoin which has built-in transaction blockchain history.

http://images.boomsbeat.com/data/images/full/152981/hasidic-jew-jpg.jpg
Satoshi Nakamoto

In 2008, Nakamoto published a paper[2] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoshi_Nakamoto#cite_note-whitepaper-2)[3] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoshi_Nakamoto#cite_note-3) on The Cryptography Mailing list at metzdowd.com[4] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoshi_Nakamoto#cite_note-4) describing the bitcoin digital currency. In 2009, Nakamoto released the first bitcoin software that launched the network and the first units of the bitcoin cryptocurrency (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptocurrency), called bitcoins.[5] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoshi_Nakamoto#cite_note-5)[6]
Nakamoto continued to collaborate with other developers on the bitcoin software until mid-2010. Around this time, he handed over control of the source code repository and network alert key to Gavin Andresen (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gavin_Andresen),[7] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoshi_Nakamoto#cite_note-7) transferred several related domains (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_name) to various prominent members of the bitcoin community, and stopped his involvement in the project.
The public bitcoin transaction log shows that Nakamoto's known wallets contain roughly one million bitcoins. As of December 2015, this was the equivalent of US$ (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_dollar)415 million.[8] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoshi_Nakamoto#cite_note-8)[9] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoshi_Nakamoto#cite_note-9) Nakamoto's true identity remains unknown, and has been the subject of much speculation. It is not known whether the name "Satoshi Nakamoto" is real or a pseudonym (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudonym), or whether the name represents one person or a group of people.

a few stories I found at Crazz Files & Red Ice, though they link to the original sources. I've never used or even followed anyone's twitter, but from everything I've heard over the years it's been around, I assume it to be in the FB/joogle/CIA/NSA grouping.

I recall in the latter '00s when twitter rolled out, seeing "free ads" on TV newscasts where the pretty-people "news" readers would banter about this or that celeb's latest tabloid tweet, and they'd ask each other, "do you tweet?", "yes I tweet!"; "not me, but I'll open an account and check it out...!" And of course embedded twitter ads in the joozmedia were coffin nails wrt any question about twitter's being yet another spook agency intel op.

I also recall in the early stages of the fake "arab revolutions" beginning around 2010, stories about how tweets coming out of some arab countries were being censored in some way; I'd have to find those stories again to recall of the details.

Mask off. No longer pretending its bots or other inauthentic activity or protecting leftists from mean words or 'dangerous' behaviour being censored.

I recall that leading up to this the German government was pressuring Facebook to do something, with critics of censorship commenting that if Facebook were forced to to something, blocking Facebook entirely in Germany (requiring Germans to use a VPN) would have been the most honest Facebook response to German politician and public servant tyranny. Tried for a while to find an article about the German government pressuring Facebook to censor these groups (that were not violating existing Facebook rules) but did not find any.

Bloomberg.com: Facebook Removes Accounts Tied to German Anti-Lockdown Group (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-09-16/facebook-removes-accounts-tied-to-german-anti-lockdown-group)

The group [ Querdenken (Lateral Thinking)] helped organize a rally last year in Berlin to oppose pandemic-related laws, which it says infringe on German constitutional freedoms...

The network was removed as part of an expanded Facebook policy that forbids groups of legitimate user accounts that work together to try and avoid Facebook’s rules and policies, executives said.

The company already has existing protocols against networks of “inauthentic” accounts, and a separate mandate that prohibits “dangerous organizations,” but said this new policy is meant to capture groups that fall in a gray area: authentic users who routinely break the rules and pose a threat, but don’t necessarily rise above the “dangerous organizations” threshold.

“This protocol is designed to capture these groups that are sort of in between,” said Nathaniel Gleicher, Facebook’s head of security policy.

dw.com: Facebook deletes accounts of German anti-lockdown group (https://www.dw.com/en/facebook-deletes-accounts-of-german-anti-lockdown-group/a-59206831)

The movement made its reputation by accusing the media and politicians of lying about the coronavirus pandemic.

"The people behind this activity used authentic and duplicate accounts to post and amplify violating content, primarily focused on promoting the conspiracy that the German government's COVID-19 restrictions are part of a larger plan to strip citizens of their freedoms and basic rights," Facebook head of security policy, Nathaniel Gleicher, told reporters.

The clampdown included both Facebook's own platform and Instagram, which is owned by Facebook. The company blocked domains linked with the movement from being shared...

The clampdown is the first time Facebook is taking action against the so-called "social harm" campaigns.

It was Gab I was recalling. Facebook apparently was met with the same and just capitulated to German bureaucratic 'public servant' tyranny.

news.gab.com: Germany Wants To Force Gab To Censor, It’s Not Happening (https://news.gab.com/2021/09/20/germany-wants-to-force-gab-to-censor-its-not-happening/)

By Andrew Torba September 20, 2021

This week we received a huge packet of documents with fines and legal threats from the nation state of Germany. Gab is refusing, and has refused for many years, to comply with the German Network Enforcement Act. Gab is a US company and as such we are under zero obligation to obey foreign laws from tyrannical governments.

For those unfamiliar, the Network Enforcement Act is a draconian German law aimed at combatting “fake news” on social networking websites. “Fake news” is of course, whatever the German Government says it is.

For example this week Facebook deleted 150 accounts belonging to an anti-lockdown movement in Germany, likely at the behest of the German government under the Network Enforcement Act.

Because of Gab’s unwillingness to participate in State-mandated censorship of free speech, the German government is now coming after our bootstrapped tech startup with heavy fines and other legal action.

Gab is not a lawless website. We work diligently to stop and prevent illegal activity from taking place on our platform. We have great relationships with many foreign countries who understand and respect our position on free speech and appreciate our zero tolerance for criminal activity. The German government isn’t concerned about any actual criminal activity, they are concerned with Thought Criminals who dare to dissent against their globalist regime.

According to our legal team, who has been working with us on this issue for several months, we have three choices.

1) Obey German censorship laws and start censoring content that the German Government doesn’t like (this is not going to happen)
2) Disobey German censorship laws and pick a fight with the nation state of Germany (I likely wouldn’t ever be able to leave the US again, they would come at us from every possible angle through state-sponsored deplatforming, heavy fines, they would possibly leverage contacts in the Biden Admin to come after Gab in other ways, and Lord knows what else.)
3) Temporarily stop providing this service in Germany by blocking German IPs.

I hate everything about these choices, which is why we went public with this information to gather feedback and consensus from our community on the topic.

The overwhelming majority of people have been very supportive of the third option. Our lawyers are suggesting this option. Our community is suggesting this option. I’ve had many people email me and reach out privately to say that this is our best course of action. We seem to have a consensus.

Yet it doesn’t sit right with me.

Ultimately as the CEO of Gab I alone need to make this decision. These are the types of decisions that define a man and make history. If we block German IPs to appease the German government that sets a precedent that other countries will want to follow. We are not IP blocking ourselves into a corner here. If the German government wants to stop German IPs from accessing Gab they can block us themselves.

Why should we block an entire country from accessing Gab because their government is sending us fines we won’t pay and veiled legal threats that mean nothing to Gab as a US corporation? I won’t be able to travel to Europe anyway because I’m not getting injected with an experimental substance. On the bright side I now have a huge stack of kindling paper for my wood stove this winter.

The reality is the German government has zero authority or jurisdiction over how we operate Gab. We have no corporate entity in Germany, we have no employees in Germany, and we are not German citizens. We are Americans.

In America you play by our rules, we don’t play by yours. Germany is a guest in our community and they will respect our values and way of doing things, not the other way around. I have nothing but love for the German people and they too deserve the fundamental human right to speak freely on the internet.

Our mission is to defend free speech online for all people, everywhere. Including in Germany. We will continue to do that, regardless of any threats from foreign governments. If we bow to Germany today, what’s to stop us from bowing to literal tyrants, such as those in Russia (like Google and Apple did just last week) or China (as Apple has done for years)?

In matters pertaining to serious crime, German police forces already know how to reach us, as indeed they have done many times in the past. We will continue to respond to those requests and provide prompt assistance to those police forces on a voluntary basis. What we will not do is restrict access to, or remove, content which is legal in the United States on or from servers in the United States.

As I write this today is the day the American Constitution was signed over 234 years ago. We must stand up now to defend it and fight for the freedoms enshrined in it, which come from God, for all nations.

I’m not sure what will come of this decision, but I will not make an important choice like this from a position of fear. I leave the outcomes of this decision in the hands of God Almighty and I pray that the German people will take back their country and freedoms very soon.

Until then: wir werden nicht nachgeben, “Nuts!”. (we will not comply, Nuts!)

timgamble.com: Google Censors America's Frontline Doctors (https://www.timgamble.com/2022/02/google-censors-americas-frontline.html)

February 27, 2022
Google has decided to remove the website of America's Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) from its search results, according to a Twitter post made on Saturday by Dr. Simone Gold, founder of America's Frontline Doctors. Her initial post on the subject read:

WOW: @Google sent notice stating they will be removing the America’s Frontline Doctors website from search results.

We are a team of medical doctors who dared to speak the truth.

And we have been proven right, again and again, and again.

In a follow-up post, Dr. Gold went on to state:

This is how they censor and silence (bully and threaten) anyone who refuses to parrot their corporate narrative.

They will lie about you and manipulate data just to shut you down. That’s how scared Big Pharma is of being exposed.

Google should be ashamed—and held accountable.

The notice from Google, received yesterday, did not state when the website would be removed from Goggle search results, just that it will be. As of 10AM this morning, the website was still available through Google search.

Google's notice cited their medical content policy that does not allow websites with any content "that contradicts or runs contrary to scientific or medical consensus." The notice did not say how Google determines scientific or medical consensus, nor did it acknowledge that the AFLDS website is founded and maintained by medical doctors.

America's Frontline Doctor's (website: https://aflds.org/ or alternately:
https://americasfrontlinedoctors.org/ ) is a medical civil rights organization for the expressed purpose of providing "medical and legal resources to defend your freedom." It was founded by and is comprised of a team of medical doctors.

Facebook goes to war.

reuters.com: Exclusive: Facebook temporarily allows posts on Ukraine war calling for violence against invading Russians or Putin's death (https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/exclusive-facebook-instagram-temporarily-allow-calls-violence-against-russians-2022-03-10/?taid=622a703727d3f20001e221cf&utm_campaign=trueAnthem:+Trending+Content&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=twitter)

March 10 (Reuters)
Meta Platforms (FB.O) will allow Facebook and Instagram users in some countries to call for violence against Russians and Russian soldiers in the context of the Ukraine invasion, according to internal emails seen by Reuters on Thursday, in a temporary change to its hate speech policy.

The social media company is also temporarily allowing some posts that call for death to Russian President Vladimir Putin or Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in countries including Russia, Ukraine and Poland, according to internal emails to its content moderators.

"As a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine we have temporarily made allowances for forms of political expression that would normally violate our rules like violent speech such as 'death to the Russian invaders.' We still won't allow credible calls for violence against Russian civilians," a Meta spokesperson said in a statement...

The temporary policy changes on calls for violence to Russian soldiers apply to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, and Ukraine, according to one email...

"We are issuing a spirit-of-the-policy allowance to allow T1 violent speech that would otherwise be removed under the Hate Speech policy when: (a) targeting Russian soldiers, EXCEPT prisoners of war, or (b) targeting Russians where it's clear that the context is the Russian invasion of Ukraine (e.g., content mentions the invasion, self-defense, etc.)," it said in the email.

"We are doing this because we have observed that in this specific context, 'Russian soldiers' is being used as a proxy for the Russian military. The Hate Speech policy continues to prohibit attacks on Russians," the email stated.

Google, will demonetize Ukrainian anti-war or war is a racket content.

reclaimthenet.org: Google to demonetize sites that “dismiss” the Russia-Ukraine war (https://reclaimthenet.org/google-to-demonetize-sites-that-dismiss-the-russia-ukraine-war/)

April 3, 2022

Dear Publisher.

Due to the war in Ukraine, we pause monetization of content that exploits, dismisses, or condones the war.

Please note, that we have already been enforcing claims related to the war in Ukraine when they violated existing policies (for instance, the Dangerous or Derogatory content policy prohibits monetizing content that incites violence or denies tragic events). This updagte is meant to clarify, and in some cases expand, our publisher gudance as it relates to this conflict.

This pause includes, but is not limited to, claims that imply victims are responsible for their own tragedy or similar instances of victim blaming, such as claims that Ukraine is committing genocide or deliberately attacking its own citizens.

Until next time,
The Google Ad Manager Team

Cool. Youtube apparently changed their policy and will now allow US policymakers (and others) discuss government policy forcing face diapers!

dailywire.com: YouTube Appears To Update Policy Banning Claims That Masks Don’t Stop The Spread Of COVID (https://www.dailywire.com/news/youtube-appears-to-update-policy-banning-claims-that-masks-dont-stop-the-spread-of-covid)

Aug 23, 2022
YouTube appears to have amended its policies so that it is now acceptable to express skepticism about masks on its platform.

Journalist and podcaster Tim Pool posted before-and-after screenshots from YouTube’s misinformation policies to Twitter. The screenshots show that a rule that bans users from claiming that face masks do not play a role in preventing the spread of COVID-19 has been removed from the policies page. The amended rules come nearly a year after the platform suspended several high-profile conservative leaders with massive followings for violating the policy.

Interesting correspondence between the yamaka and the leftist face mask.

A yamaka is a small cap that’s generally worn by Jewish men. This cap is also referred to as a kippah. The original word for a yamaka comes from Aramaic, and the meaning of that original Aramaic word is “fear of God.”

Men from the Orthodox Jewish culture must wear the yamaka at all times, while those from non-Orthodox circles wear the covering at specific times.

The literal meaning of the kippa in Hebrew is a dome, and this is an accurate depiction of the way the covering appears on the head. The Yiddish name is associated with an Aramaic term that means fear the King. Yarmulke is also similar to the Latin word representing a hood worn in the church during the Middle Ages.
In many synagogues and at various ceremonies, it is customary to have extra kippot available for guests to use.

cbc.ca: YouTube moves to block and remove all anti-vaccine misinformation (https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/youtube-anti-vax-1.6193392)

Sep 29, 2021
YouTube is moving to block and remove all content that spreads misinformation about vaccines against COVID-19 and other illnesses, such as measles, hepatitis and chickenpox.

The Google-owned online video company said in a blog post on Wednesday that any content that "falsely alleges that approved vaccines are dangerous and cause chronic health effects" will be removed...

Tim Caulfield, the Canada Research Chair in Health Law and Policy at the University of Alberta, told CBC News in an interview Wednesday that the move is long overdue.

catherinesalgado.substack.com: YouTube Quietly Changes Covid Misinfo Policy on Masks, Vaccines (https://catherinesalgado.substack.com/p/youtube-quietly-changes-covid-misinfo)

Google-owned YouTube’s Covid-19 medical misinformation policy (https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/9891785?hl=en&ref_topic=10833358) was one of the more infamous and detailed instances of an online platform’s censorship of free speech—and accurate, scientific information—in favor of state-sanctioned lies and half-truths. But what is fascinating is that YouTube has quietly updated its policy in significant ways since April 2022, just four months ago.

The original policy (https://cdn.mrc.org/static/reports/youtube_covid_19_misinformation_policy.pdf) had 71 bullet points and sentences restricting content, while the updated policy has 64. Any restrictions on content about masking and social distancing have been removed, while several restrictions on content about the Covid vaccines have been edited.

Removed restrictions include, “Claims that wearing a mask is dangerous or causes negative physical health effects,” “Claims that masks do not play a role in preventing the contraction or transmission of COVID-19,” “Claims that wearing a mask gives you COVID-19,” and bans on critiques of “Social distancing and self isolation guidelines.” YouTube also removed its ban on “Claims that the virus no longer exists or that the pandemic is over.” Perhaps the most significant of all was the removal of the ban on “Claims that COVID-19 vaccines are not effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19.”

Only one new restriction was apparently added: “Claims that the flu is more contagious than COVID-19.”

Changed content includes:
“Original: Claims that COVID-19 vaccines do not reduce risk of contracting COVID-19
New: Claims that COVID-19 vaccines do not reduce risk of serious illness or death [note that YouTube is tacitly admitting the glaringly obvious, that the vaxxed can contract Covid]

Original: Claims that the symptoms, death rates, or contagiousness of COVID-19 are less severe or equally as severe as the common cold or seasonal flu
New: Claims that the death rate of COVID-19 is equal to or less than that of the common cold or seasonal flu

Claims that COVID-19 is equal to or less transmissible than the common cold or seasonal flu”

There is, of course, the overwhelming scientific evidence that the Covid vaccines are ineffective and dangerous, even deadly to hundreds of thousands, which YouTube continues to ignore. But even the insufficient edits YouTube made to its draconian policy are telling.

It is significant to note that even in April YouTube banned most of these critiques for “approved COVID-19 vaccines[s].” Yet in America at least the COVID-19 vaccines widely available and administered (for most people the only vaccines available), including the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and the Moderna vaccine, were not approved by the FDA, they were only emergency use authorized. So was YouTube allowing users to critique those vaccines on the platform? The answer is no (https://www.christianitydaily.com/articles/13451/20210930/youtube-bans-anti-vaccine-campaigners-censors-all-anti-vaccine-content-from-its-platform.htm).

While testifying at an Oct. 2021 Senate hearing, YouTube Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy Leslie Miller boasted that YouTube had removed over 1 million videos with alleged “COVID misinfo,” including over 130,000 videos on “Covid vaccine misinfo.” So what now? Will YouTube be apologizing? Considering the platform apparently didn’t even announce publicly that it was changing its policies I would guess that’s a big no. All those people who were wrongly censored for challenging what we knew to be false will have no redress. In true Orwellian style, YouTube will just pretend it was never wrong.

There are also changes that are small enough that one wonders if they mean anything, but still enough of a change that they are worth mentioning:
“Original: Claims that Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine are safe to use in the treatment [of] COVID-19

New: Claims that Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine are safe to use in the prevention of COVID-19.”

I would say that this is an important change, with YouTube indirectly admitting that Hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin can treat Covid-19, except that the new policy still bans, “Claims that Hydroxychloroquine is an effective treatment for COVID-19” and “Categorical claims that Ivermectin is an effective treatment for COVID-19.” In any case, YouTube is being unscientific—there are literally hundreds of studies proving how effective ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine are in treating Covid.

There’s also seeming grammar edits such as the change from “Claims that the COVID-19 vaccine will be used as a means of population reduction,” to “Claims that COVID-19 vaccines are a means of population reduction.”

After over a year of crushing constitutional free speech with lies, YouTube has an awful lot of explaining to do.
