How about you?........ the most snow that I have had here in the past 11 years, .and more often.... also, in the past 11 years my water pipes have frozen about five times but this year alone 7 times in four months.

Turn your heat up Ponce. Also, open any cabinet doors that have pipes in them (under sinks, etc.)

We're due to get 7-10 inches of new snow tomorrow, and lots of wind.

yesterday was kinda windy, but the temp was around 48F, the snow started in the early evening, but due to the winds, not much accumulation. the temp plummeted to like 10F last night.

we are expected to get a good dump of snow tomorrow...estimated between 10-15 cm (4-6")

should make for fun times on the highways...lol

No mick, living today as I will tomorrow and that way nothing will be a surprised........kerosene heather set now at 57 for two weeks (at 64 before) and to tell you the truth is not that bad but for my hands... at night I do sleep under my electric blanket...........have kerosine for about four more years......is not a matter of money but about "what if".

we got snow too.

giving me a perfect reason to stay home & clear brush & make more compost piles.

i ran out of coffee after 2 days. can't be snowed in without coffee !

i went and bought the ingredients but i REFUSE to pay $4 for 100 coffee filters.

so i made French style coffee ... just mix the grounds in with the hot water, decant it into another container ... all the grounds go to the bottom of the pot - don't even need one of those fancy French coffee things.

i like the snow :D

i'm on a budget so i'm using rags for toilet paper ... maybe you didn't want to know that part :o

Wouldn't a solar powered hot pajama work poorly at the time you need it the most?

We had 2.5 feet on the ground, but just had two days of sun and 50's so it has melted some. Right now it is snowing, howling wind and 17 and dropping fast towards 8 tonight...so back to normal.

LOL Old man.......what's normal for you is not for me......I live in my la la land hahahahahaha.

Palani?.........to me that's no biggie because my jacuzzi is only five feet from my back door that I use, when the pipes are frozen, for the toilet and the water for cooking and drinking is always available on my counter......the only thing are the dishes...........but HEYYYYYYYYY, I am single so that there is nothing unusual of having three weeks of dirty dishes in the sink hahahahaahahahahahah.........and about taking a bath?, let's not go into that one :conf:

Lol Lady........two weeks ago it was sixty five here and I was working outside with no shirt on......not able to go out in my car now for about one week, but is ok because I have food for seven years, water about for ever, heating oil for about four years, all the wood that I need, solar pannels........good practice for WTSHTF.

Like I said before, it was a cangaroo court.......nothing more than a ATM machine for the city, the Judge didn't gime me a chance for anything "Mr Ponce de Leon, you can ask only one more question".......why hell, the cop didn't even know the color of my shell camper on the back of my truck.......anyway $190.00 down the drain plus the raise on my insurance.........justice is only for those holding a gun and not for the regular John Doe.
