Hi all,

I'm posting the email I received verbatim. I met "Mo" once back in '05 at a government function. I agreed to post his "for sale" note as a favor.

"Joe,

I am writing with a heavy heart. A recent unexpected emergency has occurred, my finances are in trouble, and I am in a liquidity pinch. All I can do is part with some of my holdings, which I'll sell at spot just to close the deal. I'd only managed to transfer out several thousand of the bars before things became unstable, so please encourage your friends to act quickly.

My bars are "good delivery" - both COMEX and LBMA and available in kilo, 100 oz, and a few 400 oz bars. All of the bars were recently re-certified, most stamped "Bank of Bengazi" or "Tripoli 1st National" so there will be no problem with the authentication.

I am willing to accept Paypal or wire transfer, or, if you are here in Caracas you can conduct business at my villa.

I think he's got less than 14.3 tons of bars for sale, so I'd advise people to act quickly before JPM or Goldman step in.
