I saw this the other day, and it gave me the creeps.

It is a city in the U.S. that has been destroyed by some event. And the Air Force comes in and takes away a woman.

All I think is whether or not I should look for some hints of the future in it.

The ad for the Imperial Navy is a disgrace.
I think I heard a similar one on the radio.
Global Force, whatever.

Was that a country club, hosting a wedding party or an aspirin factory that they blew up ?

Difficult to tell by that video, but with all the cheering you just KNOW it was *righteous*.

With regards to the Air Force Propaganda, it appears to me that they are trying to recruit or impress the generation that they have desensitized by games such as Call of Duty and other virtual murder games. 'Hey, I can join the Air Force, that would be kewl'.

Pentagon’s NASCAR Sponsorship Gets a Green Light: Congress Rejects Measure to Cut Funding for Ads on Race Cars (http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2011/02/pentagons-nascar-sponsorship-gets-a-green-light-congress-rejects-measure-to-cut-funding-for-ads-on-r.html)

The Army spends more than $7 million a year to sponsor NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Ryan Newman and several million more as part of a partnership with NASCAR. It says the prominent ads on the car and presence at the track help attract recruits.

Over the last decade each branch of the military has had a partnership with NASCAR. But now just the Army, Air Force and National Guard continue to sponsor teams - the Marines, Navy and Coast Guard dropped their own NASCAR sponsorships in recent years.

On the way to work this morning I saw a woman had hand written on the back glass: My daughter is in the ARMY

Bingo! Exactly what I was thinking. Pretty smart tactic actually. All these kids watching TV and playing video games can think "my life can be as exciting as my video game!"

Brainwashing at it's finest.

My take on the air force one is they are trying to portray that they are the hero and will rush in and save whoever, wherever, they are the protectors of all.

I think you'd have a better chance calling Ghostbusters, at least they leave after they rescue you

Bragging about passing your seed through the fire. Isn't that a death sentence?
