I had a youtube account but they won't let me access it now because I refuse to open a google account... They said, "Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out." No big loss... and you know google wants the info handy so they can hand your info to the current powers that will soon be gone.

I keep getting this message asking if I want to link these two accounts together.

I click no, but it says it will remind me later. Yes, it keeps reminding me. I think youtube and google are in bed together, and looking for ways to profile us.

TPTB are clever and sneaky.

Yeah I'm frustrated about that too, I would never link my YouTube account to a similar G-Mail account of the same name, but it forced me to to login just recently.

I'm sick of Google and want an alternative, but it's so hard to find one.

I noticed about 2 years ago that Youtube would automatically log me in with my Gmail account! I forgot i even had that Gmail account. I havent used it in prolly 5 years or more....

So now, about once a month, i will notice that Youtube has me logged in. I cant stop it. Deleting cookies, cache, etc. It doesnt matter. The Force has me.

You don't really need an account to watch a video. Though I did create one with a fake email.

I believe that all the sites such as Myspace, facebook, twitter, youtube, google and the rest are all just splinters of the all encompassing, totally voluntary datamining bank that Brezezinski wrote about in his 1970's book, "Between two ages: Americas role in the technotronic era".

People are handing all their personal information over and the PTB are mining it and compiling it.

Add in the new technology, where cel phone users can activate their GPS device in their phones and add their "favorite 5" or whatever, and you have everything you need as a satainic occultist oligarch in power.

People tell everyone everything on these sites. Where they are, where they were, what they are doing, who they are with, where they are going, etc etc. I am guilty of this too, but I just don;t give a shit. I figure they know me by now anyways, and they know I'm not a threat to the satanic globalist agenda. What is one "Tinfoil conspiracy theorist" among billions of LRP-brainwashed masses, right?

I still use Chrome, and like it. I found a way to make it so Google won't spy on you:

I recently got a new PC laptop for Christmas (thanks to hubby! :-*), and have been really impressed with Google Chrome. Up until Christmas I was using an old version of Firefox on my old Mac. It was extremely glitch-y, and I know it was due to everything being old, but it soured me on FF.

So I am going to try to do the steps you recommended in your old posts, although I've never done anything like that on a PC! Wish me luck. I'm a little scared.

That's part of the problem.. I don't (never had) a google account... don't want one... yet youtube requires all existing users to open one...

(please pass through the scanner here to proceed)

Just to repeat what cebu said, Google owns YouTube. That's the connection here.

As for alternatives, I thought Google is the alternative. Isn't their goal to break up the Microsoft & Apple giants? Aren't they working on the competing OS?

A little OT - but here's a datamining anecdote from tee vee.

Flippin thru the channels the other night and I hit NCIS:LA-

The .gov's paid hacker was giving his monologue on how he tracked down a killer- in real time.

He was running a facial recognition software on social networking sites and got a hit on someone's facebook page- an unrelated party had just uploaded some pics - told the whole world where they were at - and the suspect was found in the background of one of them. They went to that location and caught the suspect 'cause he was still there.

creepy stuff - you know that's not just hollywood.
