I don't know, not sure............it takes 450w of power 24/7..........and I don't even know if there will be any power to make it work..........and I already get my water for free and by gravity from a creek......I do filter my water and it taste good......... I mean, even my jacuzzy is only 100w of power for one hour.

I keep thinking........between the price and the power that it uses I could buy a hell of a lot of water bottles, but of course I already get my water for free........but.......I keep thinking "what if".......and I could always make a solar water box for about $30.00 that would give me all the water that I might need because as the water is being made I could transfer it to one of my water tanks.

By the way......if you live in a city, and are planning in staying there, you should build a solar water box in your back yard.......just in case.

PS: Power line is down somewhere, to much snow.....using my solar power emergency unit.......snow acting crazy by going up and down right and left and around, like it did last week......a bundle of logs next to the fire place, just in case...........haven't use it in 10 years.

OK here it is........http://poormanguides.blogspot.com/2009/07/solar-water-distiller.html.......is the second drawing, the evaporated water drops down the glass from right to left it runs into a channel at the bottom wich takes the clean water to the container outside........there is a better drawing that I'll find for you (and other) later on.
