Right... time is on silver's side... 50 is nothing... think about it... 50 FRN's for one oz silver... Buying under fifty is a no-brainer... look for 3 figures...

Thank God I did convert my retirement to silver and some gold in 2004. My planner said I was crazy as I was speaking crazy stuff back then like the dollar will fall through the floor and the price for everything would skyrocket.
We were and are correct in this but the timing is difficult and when it comes to pass, I am not sure I am really ready or at least as ready as I thought I would be in my mind now that this is here....

Most of my/our retirement in silver .
Accountant told me it has done well as others have not(in shares of whatever ) and thats not counting rise from 20$
Target 500$ = instant retirement (am I being overly optimistic :) )

It just rammed through to a New 30 year record! 35 and 36 will come soon. Things would get really interesting if gold breaks through 1430! Then I think we will see +$40 silver shortly!

Yes, silver is looking sexy this morning.
I still recall telling a co-worker that "Now is a good time to buy", and he said "Meh, $12 is too expensive".
I bought more at $16 a couple months later and told him again.
I still don;t think he has any silver, to this day...

I'm thankful every day for finding out about the truth of honest money, gold and silver. Perspective is an interesting thing, my first silver purchase was SAE's for $12.76 an ounce, premiums included. Silver is definitely exciting to follow, $34 and rising..

It is nice to see it go up but I am neither buying it nor selling it. Buying more food and a piece of land while it is still relatively cheap.

family member is a financial planner.
$5 was stupid to buy it, because it's not even worth anything. if it was worth anything, it'd be more than $5.
$10 was stupid to buy it, because you could get in to the market with good stocks instead. dow was going to 20,000.
$20 it was way overpriced an poised for a selloff.
$30 it was a bubble.
saturday when i talked to him, it was overextended and crashing back to $20 or less as soon as the mideast dies down.

Just be careful about telling co-workers the realities of gold and silver if they don't get it - you will be the first person they remember when it's too late and they realize you were right. People don't like others being better off than they are - law of the jungle says they will start to talk about you in a lead-up to collapse. Anyone that's not on board by now doesn't get it anyway. Only speak to those you can trust - leave the possibilities of gossip and the trouble that comes with it behind.

I don't tell a damn soul my position in silver anymore. Too many envious fools and this meteoric rise has gone mainstream.

LOL!
He will decide to go all in when it is $125, be exuberant when the next day it hits $147, be patient when it plunges to $112 (just a temporary correction) the day after, start having doubts a week later when it goes down to $75, just hanging in for the recoil so he can sell it for what he gave. Getting severely depressed as it hits $50 2 months later, sells all of it off and swear that he will never buy that dog again, watching it hit the low at $45 somewhat satisfied that he doesn't have it anymore....

And smugly point out that he was obviously right all along that it was a stupid investment to make.

It went from low 33's to 36.60 in 3 hours, a freaking 10% move! Now down below 35 again.... Some serious volatility. Reminds me of the high days of the DOW plunge thread. I don't know if it applies to silver, I suspect it does though, high volatility is the hallmark of a bear market. I think we are going well below 30, people... And probably below 26... 21 should be the concrete floor...

If spot went to $10, I don't think we'd be able to find real silver at anywhere near that price.
