Well I do believe many of us here are cowboys at heart that long for the good ol' days. In the spirit of the west Carl Griffith, who has passed, offer a "taste of history" of his sourdough starter that as been kept alive since 1847.

My sour dough starter arrived today, so looks like it took about 20 days to get it! I am anxious to get it started. Thanks again for sharing that.
