That'd be great too but what I'd really like to see is a disbursement of the funds the local, state and federal CAFR budgets.

On a serious note...when Congress was threatening to "shut down the government" they said that no Social Security checks would be sent after that day. Social Security currently has a surplus so how do they do that with a straight face?

Wow, lots of good news here. Government shuts down, so they stop sending out SS checks, at this point can I assume they'll stop collecting SS payments as well?

Afterall, why collect the SS tax if no payments are going out?
