What a shitty article.

It does a terrible job of taking picture from a Morgan faking outfit in China that is 2-3 years old and combining it with a story about a guy who bought some fake Morgans off of some people who were making them in America that was also a couple years old and then really muddying the waters by saying these things have iron cores but are only 2 grams off.

Someone was bored and wanted to kick up some dust and anyone who has been keeping up with this shit over the years can see right through that FAKE article.

The China outfit was using 90% silver and replicating key dates, there were many more pictures including the one in the FAKE article.

The American outfit was using 90% silver and replicating key dates using some fairly basic tools, problem was the market for these coins is primarily made up of folks who know their shit.

The garbage about iron cored Morgans is just that, pure speculative garbage. There have been no widely publicized authentic looking fake Morgans that were iron core.

I`ve seen fake Morgans made of some tin alloy that looks and rings like Ag but because it`s lighter the coins are bigger, you and I can see they are fake right away but a newly awaken sheep may not.
