Daylight Saving Time starts Sunday

Don't forget to set your clocks ahead an hour -- Daylight Saving time begins Sunday.

Technically the switchover doesn't happen until 2 a.m. Sunday. Time will fall back when DST ends at 2 a.m. Nov. 6.

Since the program first started does anybody know how much daylight we have banked?

Where do I go to withdraw some of my share?

Oh thank heaven we have such sardonic observers to remind us of the obvious and trivial. I have a bunch of watches and I don't wear any of them. I will get up when I wake up and it will be whatever time the chickens say it is.

Thanks for your heroic news-hawking. Where is the picture?

I don't know, but I'd venture a guess it was when the FED reserve was founded. They decided that along with destroying our currency, they may as well fuck with us and take a little bit of our time too. An extra middle finger you could say, for laughs.

I, for one, am happy to have an extra hour of daylight in my evenings.

You don't actually get an extra hour of daylight, you just think you do. It's mind games.

You mean the federal government doesn't control the earth's rotation?!

At one time I worked the night shift at a major airport. I was glad to be paid for an extra hour that I didn't work. Now what does that say about my 'work ethic'? But now, it's a big pain to lose an hour of sleep in the spring. Getting it back in the fall is anticlimactic.
