Im not sure just yet ....... But it appears that it has Begun.

We Just went to a Utra Sound on Friday and found out she about 6 pounds at 34 weeks. We were estatic because she just about doubbled her weight since her last test approx 3.3)

Wife has been feeling funny the last few days but we hoping for till about the end of the Month but it appears she is due to make her grand entrance.

We are not going to be rushing to the hospital anytime soon.....we want this to be as close to a home birth as possible. we will probally go in tommarrow in the Late Morining or Early afternoon depending on how she is feeling. My Wife is a tough dam cookie

We got the prep bags ready by the door ........ all we can do is just wait and I will try to chronicle this experince as best I can ( we dont have immediate family in the area)

I will keep this thread up date as things develop.

Its funny...... as soon as she started geting serious pains and we kinda agreeed this may be it...... I wanted to Jump on the net and let you guys know first.

I feel ( we ) closer to you all then folks personally around us and Im Glad to be able to share this with ya.

Fingers crossed.

Be careful man, anytime my women were pregnant things get dangerous. no climbing on roofs or anything that can make things dangerous. Be a good time to just chill.

Hope things go well with you and Mrs. T.

Mrs. Old is due with our first August 7th, so we'll be joining you in the doom-parenting club!

And we are glad to be on the east coast.

Congrats!!! Its funny how often I try and envision what the world will be like for my child and the countless others that live on the planet at this time. I hope that the world I see coming is nothing more than a crazy old mans rantings. What a world we have created and left to the unsuspecting youth!

TT, they do have drugs/medicine that can stop pre-term labor. You may want to check into it, to avoid the risks premmies carry.

Best of luck & thanks for the news.

Thank you to everybody for the hearty and sincere well wishes

It seems that things have calmed down as she was able to make it through the night resting.

Hopefully this was a massive Prep session before the Main Event ( she's done this Twice before) and both times me and wife got stuff we were dragging ass on ready.

Last nite I was able to do a Belly Mold in Plaster ( she wanted to have for Her as she dose for our Boy) and we put the finsishing touches on The changing table.

It seems like she knows we kinda work best under pressure and I dam sure sprouted about a dozen gray hairs last nite :)

Hopefully she will stay in Oven a to "cook" a bit more

Make sure she is drinking plenty of water too. I had my second son at 36 weeks and he was almost 7 pounds. Oh and my cousin had a baby in December at 25 weeks born at about 1 1/2 pounds and he's been in the hospital but doing really well and is going home soon and is over 6 pounds now. Babies are amazing!
