I have a close friend who taught me everything I know, who can field dress a deer in under a minute, but we don't skin them out till the next day.

My opinion on this: I don't have an issue with the size of deer, because my theory ism, you take what God gives you. For all we know he was in a treestand everyday for a week straight and that was the only thing that walked out on the last day.

Also, you can tell when watching this video that they have sped it up a little bit. Not much, just a little bit. Probably just to keep it under the 3 minute mark, but still.

It all happened so fast that I couldn't really tell how he dealt with the diaphragm. Looks like he never had to cut it out.
