View Full Version : Waxing philosophical about GSUS

At GIM1, I once started a thread praising the forum's members for their insights. A few weeks after I started the thread, the forum was gone. I know this place won't last forever, either. As the debacle in Japan unfolds, I am thinking to myself that I won't last forever. None of us will. The point is that nothing should be taken for granted in this world.

You know, I'm the ultimate information junkie. How many times have I chased the rabbit long into the night, begrudgingly gone to bed later than I should have, and then sleepwalked my way through what is supposed to be my real life the next day? Three AM called, we've got your truth right here...all you have to do is show up to pick it up. All of this chasing and all of these hours and all of these message forums and all of these websites and blogs and searches and information and misinformation and speculation and rumination and proclamation...
Bottom line: There is no place better than GSUS. There is no place even close.

Some of you are my friends. Some of you are my enemies. I've fought with just about all of you. I've exposed some of you. I've pissed most of you off. But one thing I want you all to know, whoever you may be, is that I have the ultimate respect for most of you. Your intelligence and your insight is absolutely unparalleled. Thank you.

I`m an information junkie with every information vein collapsed, I`m shooting info under the tongue, in the neck and will soon start looking at my dick in a new way if things accelerate any further. This is the good news, the bad news is there is no cure for this addiction, no substitute like methadone or suboxone and GSUS is a dope block where info is freely distributed and exchanged.

I`d rather be a junkie than a sheep.

Well said. Except for one thing. Why would you have "enemies" here, or anywhere?

No one on the internet can shoot at you, nor kick you, nor burn down your house.

You can pick up your game a bit here, if you'd like. I disagree with many, but that does not make someone my enemy.

Junkie or sheep, big difference that is. One may claim to be enlightened, while living for the next fix, the other has it's head in the sand. Either way, they are both headed south.

You are confusing ignorance with enemy.

Everyone is headed south. Junkies are statistically smarter than average people. Intellegence is synonymous with intellectual courage. Information junkies are correct in labeling themselves "junkies", it is an addiction and it can ruin your life.

I've found its not so much the information itself, but the meta information that has been valuable. The knowledge about finding knowledge. The truth-finding process.

From my observations, as soon as you are confident that you've got everything figured out, you're probably more wrong than you've been in a long time. Talking is less valuable than listening. Principles used to control small things are the same principles used to control big things. The logical mind can be easily tricked by many so-called facts - therefore don't be trapped by (what seems to be) logic, use it only as a tool. Discernment is what counts. Some ideas can totally transcend others, making arguments and conclusions about the previous ideas irrelevant.

I was a weird kid...I liked to read Stephen King books at a very early age. (haven't read one for probably 20 years, though) There was a book called The Tommyknockers. The book was about a bunch of people digging up a spaceship. As they dig up the ship, they basically start to become transformed into aliens. First symptom is that they lose a tooth. Then they lose more teeth (I can't remember the rest of the symptoms, but there were several, it was a very long process). The main character, for some reason, doesn't exhibit any of the symptoms of the other characters, so he thinks he is immune to the process. Then one day he loses a tooth. He realizes he wasn't immune, just that he had a very strong resistance to whatever was causing the symptoms.

I think some of us are kind of like the character in that book. We think we are immune to things like advertising, propoganda, programming, suggestion, etc...but in reality we only have a very strong resistance to them.

Why would everyone be headed south? Such statements make no sense to me. If you can provide for your parents, spouse & children, in numerous ways, you must be an asset. If you claim to be enlightened, but are going off the deep-end, you are probably a liability and headed south.

Depends on your goals in life. One person's south may be another person's north. Based on antonio's view of life, he may consider everyone going south, but based on your views, you may see some going in both directions.

I`ve met plenty of sheeple who completely ignore outside world. I remember calling one bitch 3 days after 911. We are both in NYC. I was glued to the net and TV during those awful days, called a few friends to see how they were doing and she started to bleet something about our current college gossip. Later I realized she was not alone in her extreme burying head in the sand. We all know such people.

On the other end of the spectrum there are astonishingly smart people who are stuck to the net 24/7, no social life or career, piss-poor but VERY informed. These are the equivalent of the degenerate drug addict whose life is ruined by his/her addiction.

Do I want to become a successful sheep with lots of money, busy social life etc but ignorant about what`s going on?
I think it`s too late for me. I`m already too informed to choose such a life.
I don`t want to become an extreme information junkie either because, believe me when I`m saying this, it is just as miserable as being a crack head or a doper. Might just as well burn yourself out fast in a blaze of speedballs, it`ll be a faster and a less painful end.
I don`t want to sit on my ass for the next 30 years (if I make it that far) and realize with my crystal-clear brain that I`ve squandered my life in search for the info about Jews, masons and HAARP.

If you make searching for truth your profession as alternative media journalists do, it is a different matter. An info dealer is a different creature from an info user.
PS. It doesn`t matter whether you spent a sleepless night snorting coke or reading about ZOG/Judeomasonry, your body is disintegrating and so is your social life/career.

A very continuing humbling, honest and truthful experience isnt it?
Reminds me of when I finished 5 years of electrical schooling only to have the first employer (and second) tell me that I only know just enough to barely not hurt myself or anyone else.

I remember then punch to the gut feeling when I started to see the bullshit veneer of mainstream life.
The false relationships and my ability to go back to ignorant bliss has been taxing almost like putting on the glasses from 'They Live".

GREAT post dys,.....

While on my trip down the rabbit hole i have found that staying grounded and level headed is the name of the game. NEVER let the ego control the mind, which as we all know, can be an everyday training session.

PEACE,

When I read threads like this, it's a good reminder. No matter how much a man knows, the 'truth', we all have the right to go for what we want in life.

Sometimes, I think seeing things for what they are, has a way of actually trying to stop us. We stop our selves, in a sense. Because of the truth. We can often be our own worst enemies.

But, in a way, that is a strength. To overcome that and choose a different path to reach our goals, it's the same thing..but better, imo.

One thing I find very interesting about GSUS is all of the member specialization. Some members are very good at discerning shills, for instance. Others are historical experts. There are experts in areas of countintel, international politics, precious metals, zionism, occultism, even apostasy. I'm sure I'm forgetting some, too.

I think there are member specializations that would surprise most, not because of their complexity but because of their simplicity.
