Palin plans to visit Israel for two days, and will meet with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and other members of Israel's right-wing, including Likud MK Danny Danon, a Danon aide told The Jerusalem Post.

She was also expected to visit the Western Wall and Nazareth during her short stay, according to Army Radio.

Danon is a pro-settler leader who also saw, and admired, Mike Huckabee when he was in Israel, and Palin's views on whether Israel should be working toward dividing the land are worth listening for.

UPDATE: I'm told Palin will dine Monday night with Netanyahu. A person familiar with the trip also said that she'd organized it unusually quietly, booking the trip not through diplomatic channels but through a Christian tour operator.

She already has a job, no pleading necessary. I've been convinced for a while that SarahPalin is a psy-op directed at the left/liberal wing. It's f***cked up how seemingly well educated, healthy looking people come unhinged at the mention of her name.
Her job is to distract/occupy the left with something so evil that they don't give a sh*t that the leaders they elected haven't done anything they said they would.

You left out her endearing quality to the "right" side of the equation. I have some family that have completely fallen for her.

I would give the left the benefit of the doubt on this one. Most see her as a dumb chick that is being put in place. Unfortunately they don't understand that their side is filled with the same ilk.
