I hate to keep beating this but if we all just hoard our silver instead of buy sell and trading with it when the FRN tanks the process to network with locals will be that much more difficult.

I think we should be hitting the streets now local ally(sp?). It really isn't terribly hard and yes some may look at you strangely but the alternative is ugly. Holed up with a stash of goods that will run out over time and what good will a sash of coins be when it's not safe to travel.

I admit I'm some what small minded but I have found I have been able to trade silver to people for food, weapons, and soon gasoline.

Also the use today of your stash will starve the beast that is destroying this country and good people.
