Here's a list of things you can take to protect from and even reverse effects of radiation. I tried my best to organize them from most to least important, but a lot of it is guesstimates based on my own knowledge, and the time I spent researching this information. Hope it all helps!

It was reported that the Russians used pond scum (algae) to combat radiation sickness at Chernobyl.

My regimen:

1,500 mg Vitamin C divided 500 mg q8h
Selenium 200 mcg
Liquid B multivitamin
Supergreen grass, heaping tsp in orange juice
Wheat germ oil tbs
Colloidal multiminerals liquid

Lean meats
vegetables
fruit

No processed carbs
Minimal natural carbs
no sugar
no fried foods
no bleached flour
nothing containing high fructose corn syrup

My regimen:

1,500 mg Vitamin C divided 500 mg q8h

no vitamins or suppliments
dechlorinated, defluoridated water
high pulp orange juice
yogurt
dark berries
raw mixed nuts
peanuts in shells
mostly brown rice
chicken
turkey
lamb
pork (should probably stop but it pisses off the joo and muzzy)
eggs
egg noodles
jordan almonds :D
dark almond bark :D
alcohol in moderate portions. wine, beer, vodka, tequila, whisky, etc.

coffee in the morning
For lunch during the week I splurge with the work group and eat whatever or wherever we go but in lite portions.

almost never eat bread or cereal, or beef or creatures of the sea.
