I visited the Tanner Gun Show this weekend in Denver, which is the biggest show in the state. From the website: (http://www.tannergunshow.com/)
You'll find 700 available tables with all types of guns, knives, ammunition, and related hunting and fishing accessories including, holsters, western wear, gun safes, books, war relics, and other collectibles. We have Colorado's largest selection of old and new firearms.
This was an incredible gun show to attend. The space seemed almost endless, it might take you a full hour just to walk through the space. There was a somewhat good selection of handguns, there was a great selection of rifles, and ammo was plentiful. Prices were lower than I remember them being for a long time. Some ammo was pretty cheap, with 500 rounds of 7.62x39 for $99, and reloaded boxes of 9mm (50 rounds) for $10. One table was having a "Glock Gun Show Special", with all new glocks for $499, or $549 for 4th generation and they throw in three extra mags. I am in the market for a new G17, but sadly, they didn't have any. They told me they had been waiting three months for their shipment, and that they can't keep the G17's in stock. Unfortunately, nobody in the entire 700 table show had a G17 for me. Nobody. One table was absolutely full of glocks in practically every model, but no 17s. So I left disappointed, but if I had not been shopping for the G17 I would have had a great time.
