I have said for years that the Socialist Obama is not the guy that will take down the United States. It is the Fascist Republican after him, that you need to worry about. America is not going to go down the collectivist road to Socialism or Communism. We fought too long against it in the Cold War. America will however go down the collectivist road of Fascism. Fascism is simply the merger of the power of the state with the power of the Corporation. Fascism could easily be called Corporatism. Our Corporatocracy creates policies to support corporate interests like the Wall St banksters, the oil cartel, the media monopolies and the Military Industrial Complex.

I believe Obama was put into power to take the blame for the weakening economy, so that Americans would beg for a "strong man" to take them down that final road to serfdom. My hope is that people stop falling for the Hegelian Dialectic of Republican v. Democrat, Socialist v. Fascist or any other seemingly opposing collectivist systems. They should choose the alternative system that made this country great, a Constitutional Republic with Free Market Capitalism. It is the one system that protects and profits the individual.

So I am on the look out for that 2012 Fascist "strong man" now. So far the choices range from The Apprentice's Trump to the Dancing with the Stars' mom, Palin. Whomever does get selected to become the next President of the United States, they will merely be another sock puppet for some very brilliant and powerful men behind the scenes. Our new fearless leader will demand more control over you financial affairs here at home and more military adventures overseas.

Moshe Katsav was convicted of twice raping an aide in the late 1990s and sexually assaulting two women between 2000 and 2007

Israel's former president Moshe Katsav was sentenced yesterday to seven years in jail for rape and other sexual offences, the culmination of a five-year-long judicial process that has transfixed the Israeli public.

The Iranian-born bureaucrat has always protested his innocence while accusing the media of a public lynching and a racially driven witch-hunt.

The Tel Aviv court convicted Katsav, 65, in December of twice raping an aide when he was a cabinet minister in the late 1990s, and sexually assaulting two other women who worked for him during his presidency between 2000 and 2007. In the ruling, the judges said that Katsav was "manipulative" and that his testimony was "riddled with lies".

It had been speculated in the media that the court would hand down a less severe sentence, taking into account his years of public service and the intense media scrutiny over the past year. But the judges said that, on the contrary, he had abused his position of power.

"The crime of rape harms and desecrates a person's honour, humiliates them, represses the spirit and damages the soul. The severity of the crime of rape was further reinforced because it was carried out through the exploitation of his position of authority," Judge George Kara said in his ruling.

"The defendant committed the crime and, like every other person, he must bear the consequences," he said.

Katsav broke down in tears after the sentence, shouting: "The women know that they lied! They know that they lied, they are laughing at the judgment! Your Honour knows that she lied!"

Lawyers for Katsav said that they would appeal, and the former president is not due to appear at the prison until 8 May. Katsav, who was also convicted of obstructing justice, was given an additional two-year suspended sentence and ordered to pay two of his victims fines of 25,000 shekels (£4,300) and 7,000 shekels (£1,200).

The affair has transfixed the public since the allegations emerged in 2006. Katsav was forced to resign as president a year later, handing the largely ceremonial office to Shimon Peres. He initially accepted a lenient-plea deal, only to reject it later to prove his innocence.

In the interim, he periodically gave news conferences, bizarre affairs where he denounced the media for publicly trying him without evidence. Following one televised tirade against his attackers, lasting two-and-a-half hours, his press advisers resigned in disgust.

The second kind of Revolution is one that is making it on to my radar and they seem to have the same bad guys in their sights. I have have always watched a lot of documentaries. Recently there have been a lot of very slick documentaries attacking Wall St, The Federal Reserve, Debt, Housing Bubble, Corporate Greed, Wars, Outsourced Jobs and Oil. All of these documentaries are stunning attacks at the very real problems our country is facing. For the most part there is nothing to argue against, we are going down the wrong road and there are a group of Elite that are absolutely gutting America and raping the world for their own personal profit and power.

The problem is, for the most part, these documentaries don't offer a solution, only an attack on Capitalism. They seek to paint a broad brush and label all Capitalism as evil. In reality the kind of Capitalism we have today has nothing to do with the Free Market Capitalism that made America great. Our Capitalism today is a Collectivist monster that is better described as Crony Capitalism, Crisis Capitalism, State Capitalism, Corporate Capitalism, Gangster Capitalism or Mercantilism. These economic systems have much more in common with their Collectivist cousins Fascism, Socialism, and Communism than Free Market Capitalism. The underlying tone to all of these documentaries is phrases like progressive politics, stronger worker's rights, redistribution of wealth, higher taxes and regulation... you know Socialism. They won't come out and flash the Lenin or Marx posters, but the influence is there.

I recently watched the documentary Inside Job narrated by Matt Damon, with some family. It was a total joke, much like you describe. They were interviewing people that work for The Federal Reserve, making some of them look 'good' and some of them 'bad' to give the appearance of a bunch of idiots that couldn't tie their own shoes. The problems mentioned, although some of them accurate, were agenda driven: bonuses, income inequality, lack of regulation was mentioned over and over, CEOs making too much money, etc. Nothing about fractitional reserve banking or the Federal Reserve. Very lilttle about FHA, Fannie/Freddie. In fact, they even interviewed criminal Barnie Frank as an authority on the mess. Just sad and pathetic.

In 1568, in order to satisfy certain claims against the king of France (who had stolen the family property left in that country because Jews were not permitted in France), Joseph Nasi obtained the sultan's authority to confiscate one-third of the merchandise on French ships docking at Alexandria. The French envoy, Grandchamp, launched an elaborate plot with Nasi's former physician, Daoud, in the hope of disgracing him. During the War of Lepanto (1570–71) Nasi's dominions were re-conquered by the Venetians for the former duke, but Nasi's authority was soon reinstated.
