Dear US Citizens,

We, Anonymous, would like to offer you, America, the opportunity to join and support our movement. We are a group that formed on the internet - one that knows no constructs or absolutes, and one that has recently grown exponentially. We would like to introduce an Operation. An Operation that involves Americans getting our National Rights and dreams back....To effectively reform the system that has enslaved us, we must consider the advice and example of those who have preceded us. Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and JFK are good places to start. All took fierce positions against central banking, government corruption and corporate power... The time has come for us to unite, the time has come for us to stand up and fight.

- Anonymous

I thought the same thing when they mentioned those 2 clowns. Guess they didn't know that Lincoln was a war monger who refused to see that the South withdrew their consent, and forced them back into the Union at the barrel of a gun.

Teddy has a whole list of issues, among them was a war monger as well.

They did however despise central banks. I guess that's the only thing they had going for them.

Health care is NOT a human right. No one should have the right to another persons labor or knowledge. I don't care how "well intended" they think they are being.

More and more I'm starting to see Anonymous is controlled opposition. Nothing mentioned about what would REALLY get people back on their feet is PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY!!!!

I hope this does not turn into another CIA front like WikiLeaks...

I am only going to support my site and encourage other to do their own leaderless resistance.

I will wager three mercury dimes it is WikiLeaks Reduxx.

Those are some of the most shallow demands I have ever seen

Enforce RICO laws???

Every Federal Judge is in someone back pocket or they would have NEVER been apointed in the first Place.

"Accurate" Vote counting???

Stalin has that based covered quite well

I see this more as Wiki on steroids. Wiki gathered and disseminated info/news/secrets etc...Anon is actively almost recruiting, add to that the fact that Anon is by its own admission and recent "proofs" the internet "king". Me think something smells funny.

Yeah, neither one of them really strikes me as having taken "fierce positions against government corruption and corporate power". Not sure about the whole "controlled opposition" thing, it sounds like ignorance to me. Economics is a subject that hardly anyone understands, even genuine patriots. Other than that I like the idea of resistance coming in the form of anonymous hackers on the net.

Hopefully someone educates them about economics and government corruption and how they go hand in hand. :)

Let's hear the words straight from Lincoln's mouth (one of my top 5 least favorite presidents)

"I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in anyway the social and political equality of the white and black races - that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race."

More on Lincoln and his resettlement/colonization ideas:

Abraham Lincoln's Program of Black Resettlement (http://www.ihr.org/jhr/v13/v13n5p-4_Morgan.html)

Lincoln's wife, Mary Todd, was the daughter to a powerful banker that was also one of the most prominent slave owners.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Todd_Lincoln

Lincoln was a politician through and through. In other words, a liar and a thief.

Lincoln issued the Greenback to fund his war of aggression on the South. He was a tyrant. Yes, a tyrant that was an enemy of the Rothschilds, but I am not one that buys into "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." He was a puppet to the dominant railroad industry of the time. Similar to the bank/big oil whores we have today.

The Emancipation Proclamation DID NOT FREE SLAVES! The Thirteenth Amendment did.

"If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that."

Spot on. No mention of eradication of the Fed and Income tax. Those are the requisites. Without, we are changing one set of chains for another.

You're half right, they did list "End the FED" in their list of objectives, 3rd one from the top.

"Anonymous" is just a group of people on the internet. I'm not quite sure how they issue letters because they really don't have any leader or structure that I'm aware of, but instead of just criticizing their statements I would encourage everyone help improve their goals through education.

Regarding the naïveté of the demands, I think we should give them a break. I suspect Anonymous is made up of young kids, since they're a 4chan-based "group." As a cynical and jaded Generation-Xer I find the activism of our new Hero Generation refreshing. They also mentioned that the list of grievances and demands were a starting point; they're from the Ampedstatus.org site, which does look interesting.

Yes, they are a bunch of teenagers--14-18 year olds who still hold on to their idealism and are naive, unlike us adults who are worldly wise, cynical, and sheep.

I support these kids, and I hope their technical prowess tears down this monster plutocracy that strangles all of us.

These *are* the same guys that hacked Visa.com, mastercard.com, and all the sites of the westborough church (WBC are the "God Hates Fags" people who protest military funerals)

If their message isn't hardcore enough for you, it's via ignorance of the banking system and history in general - not because they're trying to "controlled opposition" you.

Taking down the frontend website to mastercard and visa is much different that hacking the backend. Just FYI.

Anonymous is the kind of organization I would have joined many decades ago just to show myself and the world what kind of challenges I was up to--but the technology wasn't there--neither for big brother or the rest of us.

The playing field has been leveled somewhat now that we all have computers and the internet. Now a bunch of kids can take on some huge financial institutions and the government and hope to win. This will be a battle between technical competence and authority. I'll shed no tears for authority.

Okay, it's true. They just did a simple DDoS attack. I'm not saying they're technical geniuses, I'm saying they have bravery.
