Just heard it on the news so no links, but here's a map of where it's located in case some people don't know where it is.

7.0-magnitdue quake strikes NE Myanmar; no tsunami

YANGON, Myanmar — A U.S. monitoring agency says a 7.0-magnitude earthquake has hit northeastern Myanmar.

The quake struck Thursday night near the Southeast Asian country's borders with Thailand and Laos, about 70 miles (110 kilometers) from the northern Thai city of Chiang Rai.

The U.S. Geological Survey says it struck at a depth of 140 miles (230 kilometers) — exceptionally deep. But it could be felt as far away as Bangkok, where buildings swayed.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says it was located too far inland to generate a destructive wave.

No it's not but looks like a fault goes right through the country.

Indo-Australian plate - the area has some hot springs so there's some seismic activity.

It sounds like both quakes were relatively deep - so hopefully no damage or loss of life.

Thank goodness I live here on the coast of California where earthquakes never happen ..... oh, wait, never mind!

It's my turn to post a youtube music video that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand.

yes and no.

imagine the Pacific Plate as a car wheel, held in place with 4 nuts.

recently, 3 of those nuts have been loosened - e.g. the earthquake in Japan, and the Earthquake in New Zealand.

so one of the nuts - where the Pacific Plate and the North American plate come together, at the San Andreas Fault - is carrying much more of the stress as the Pacific Plate does what it does naturally ... move a few inches a year.

if you are interested, i suggest

as one resource. Doing a web search for "Pacific Plate tectonic" would provide more info.

good question, but who could say for sure ?

even geologists are disagreeing about that.

That's what I was wondering. I was thinking that the minimum threshold for a significant event would be 7.0. Lo and behold!

Here is a real odd idea. I think things like the supermoon event are just manifestations breaking through into the physical realm and the laws of nature require cause & effect.

In Genesis, God created light BEFORE creating the sun & moon.
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth;
Gen 1:2 and the earth being without form and empty, and darkness on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God moving gently on the face of the waters,
Gen 1:3 then God said, Let light be! And there was light.

Gen 1:13 And there was evening, and there was morning the third day.
Gen 1:14 And God said, Let luminaries be in the expanse of the heavens, to divide between the day and the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years.
Gen 1:15 And let them be for luminaries in the expanse of the heavens, to give light on the earth. And it was so.
Gen 1:16 And God made the two great luminaries: the great luminary to rule the day, and the small luminary and the stars to rule the night.

So the objects in the sky are key in keeping time for us. When your clock starts making noises it is time to wake up. I think we are about to hear the cosmic alarm clock go off.

I can't help but wonder if Mossad & other black government subs are prowling around the globe, preparing to raise mayhem in support of their already demonstrated Luciferian agenda.

but, then again, Mother Nature happens. all those HUMONGOUS mountains - in Japan, in British Columbia, in California ... etc. - did not just spring out of the ground because of a simple mud ooze.

these events that seem so major to us are merely sneezes for Mother Nature. the Yucatan extinction asteroid event, that was major. a 9.0 earthquake is merely Mother Nature stretching a little. Or maybe it was a Mother Nature Orgasm :o who knows.

GOT TO TAKE AWAY HER VIBRATOR !!!

There is no mother nature but for many nature will be a mother.
