The VERY DEFINITION of being an American is to constantly restrict your government. Not follow orders blindly. To contain them in a small circle, only allowing them to do their job: Protect the Life, Liberty and Property of the INDIVIDUAL, not the collective.

There is no courage or honor in proactive offensive violence. Violence is only honorable when in defense of ones Life, Liberty or Property. And no, you are defending while illegally and unconstitutionally occupying a sovereign nation.

I think the emphasized part above marks the point at which a human is more of an animal than a man. An animal too smart for his own good and led about by false intellectual constructs (all the well-known 'isms') which tap directly into his primordial animal nature.

To truly become more than just an animal we need some type of inspirational spark that moves us to think and feel on our own. That is how we become free. Our food is poisoned and we're bombarded with images of violence, sex, and sports to keep us from breaking free and becoming an individual.

I see many arguments on specific intellectual positions such as what this movement in history meant and why it was superior to everything else, etc, but in my opinion the only important thing is becoming less of just an empty ego controlled by fear, and instead be lead by something higher.

It is very rare when a war is just. When it is, one can protect the safety of one`s nation and of his team without pangs of conscience.
In an unjust war simply being there in any capacity is a crime.
When a moral human comes back from an unjust war that he was tricked into joining , his entire remaining life becomes hell.
