The answer will be obvious possibly in a decade or so, but certainly in a thousand years... Apple has done incredibly well in the last decade or so, vastly outperforming silver, but silver has outperformed most other investments too... I hope Apple continues to do well for some time, they do take silver off the market, and I like their products, but who the hell knows!

Don't forget that apple OWNS a lot of silver for manufacturing purchases!

Roughly five years ago they purchased 120 million ounces! Then 24 months later they purchased another 60 million for a grand total of 180,000,000 ounces!


I hope they took physical delivery.... : )

But seriously, Apple knew they'd have to keep using silver in manufacturing so they purchased it while it was cheap.

Holding my physical silver for the past 28 years......will the iPhone last that long?, plus, soon I'll be able to buy three iPhone for one oz round of silver.
