White Gold: The Extraordinary Story of Thomas Pellow and Islam's One Million White Slaves
http://www.amazon.com/White-Gold-Extraordinary-Thomas-Million/dp/0374289352

I'll be editing this and updating it.

Hidden history you are not supposed to know about.

An excellent book I am reading, sourced from first hand accounts of survivors
and corroborated by other works, reports of governments, including the adversaries.

It is a brutal book, it disturbs me reading it.

Thomas Pellow is the main character and survivor, taken as a slave at the age of 11,
and escaped with his life 23 years later to tell the tale, there is a lot of real history
that is related that you can easily find if you search for it.

Basically the Turks run the show, semi autonomous regions, take European slaves,
those slaves are sold to a network that stretches from Morrocco right through to
the entire Muslim world, major slave trading centers. The wars last for centuries.
This is just an extension of the Muslims invading all of North Africa , Europe and
waging war continually, the White Slave Trade was just an aspect of this ongoing
war. North Africa was full of European cities, Muslim invaders mass murdered them.

Muslim ships raided right into the UK and even took American slaves as well.

Black babies were kidnapped, trained and brainwashed to be the Imperial Guard and enforcers.

The Turks did the same thing in Europe kidnapping very young European kids.

There were no Blacks that lived in North Africa even 200 years ago, the Arabs/Turks
would have to cross the Sahara on life defying journeys in order to find them.
There are personal accounts of this in the book, how it was done.

Lots of related history here.

This history is significant because it flies in the face of the politically correct and their agenda.

Comments are interesting.

From Publishers Weekly
For this harrowing story of white captives in 18th-century Morocco, Milton (author of the highly praised Nathaniel's Nutmeg) draws primarily on the memoir of a Cornish cabin boy, Thomas Pellow, who was taken by Islamic pirates in 1716 and sold as a slave to the legendarily tyrannical Sultan Moulay Ismail. Pellow remained in Morocco for more than 20 years, his family barely recognizing him when he at last escaped home. Placing Pellow's tale within wider horizons, Milton describes how, during the 17th and 18th centuries, thousands of European captives were snatched from their coastal villages by Islamic slave traders intent on waging war on Christendom. Put into forced labor and appalling living conditions, they perished in huge numbers. As a pragmatic convert to Islam, Pellow fared better, earning a wife who bore him a daughter. Milton includes Pellow's years as a soldier in Moulay Ismail's army and draws out his cliff-hanging escape back to England. Pellow's sensational tale dominates the book, and though rendered in seductively poised prose, in the end it feels short on ideas and argument. Milton also fails to cite other historians working in this area (a prime example being Linda Colley). 16 pages of b&w illus. not seen by PW; 2 maps.

AMERICANS AS SLAVES

Barbary corsairs

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbary_corsairs

The Barbary Corsairs, sometimes called Ottoman Corsairs or Barbary Pirates, were pirates and privateers who operated from North Africa, based primarily in the ports of Tunis, Tripoli and Algiers. This area was known in Europe as the Barbary Coast, a term derived from the name of its Berber inhabitants. Their predation extended throughout the Mediterranean, south along West Africa's Atlantic seaboard and even South America,[1] and into the North Atlantic as far north as Iceland, but they primarily operated in the western Mediterranean. In addition to seizing ships, they engaged in Razzias, raids on European coastal towns and villages, mainly in Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal, but also in England, Scotland, the Netherlands, Ireland, and as far away as Iceland. The main purpose of their attacks was to capture Christian slaves for the Islamic market in North Africa and the Middle East.[2]

First Barbary War

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Barbary_War

The First Barbary War (1801–1805), also known as the Barbary Coast War or the Tripolitan War, was the first of two wars fought between the United States and the North African Muslim states known collectively as the Barbary States. These were the independent Sultanate of Morocco and Tripoli, which were quasi-independent entities nominally belonging to the Ottoman Empire.

1801-1805: The First Barbary War

When Thomas Jefferson became president, he refused to pay any more tribute to the Barbary pirates. And in May 1801, two months after he was inaugurated, the pasha of Tripoli declared war on the United States. The US Congress never issued an official declaration of war in response, but Jefferson dispatched a naval squadron to the coast of North Africa to deal with the pirates.

Somali pirate offers to release Danish family in exchange for hand of daughter, 13

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1370766/Pirate-offers-release-Danish-family-exchange-hand-teenage-daughter.html#ixzz1HvfJ9SDy

Life can be lonely on the high seas and one pirate has decided enough is enough, it's about time he got himself a wife.

But the Somali pirate chief has taken a fancy to his 13-year-old Danish hostage - and he is so besotted with her he's willing to let the rest of her family go free, and even forget the $5million dollar ransom his pirate colleagues demanded.

According to The Times, the pirate made the bizarre proposal during a conversation with a Danish reporter, who visited the African nation to track down the Johansen family who were taken hostage in the Indian Ocean more than a month ago.

Global White Population to Plummet to Single Digit—Black Population to Double
The big population story of the 21st Century is shaping up to be the status reversal of whites and blacks and the Indian baby boom

As a percentage of world inhabitants, the white population will plummet to a single digit (9.76%) by 2060 from a high-water mark of 27.98% in 1950.

Using 2010 as the base reference, the big gainer in the population derby will be blacks or sub-Sahara Africans. This group will expand almost 133% to 2.7 billion by 2060. By the middle of this century blacks will represent 25.38% of world population, which is up dramatically from the 8.97% they recorded in 1950.

Christian Slaves Muslim Masters

Christian Slaves, Muslim Masters: White Slavery in the Mediterranean, The Barbary Coast, and Italy, 1500-1800 (Early Modern History: Society and Culture): Davis, R.: 9781403945518: Amazon.com (https://www.amazon.com/Christian-Slaves-Muslim-Masters-Mediterranean/dp/1403945519)

In his 2003 book Christian Slaves, Muslim Masters: White Slavery in the Mediterranean, the Barbary Coast and Italy, 1500–1800, Ohio State University history professor Robert Davis states that most modern historians minimize the white slave trade.

Davis estimates that slave traders from Tunis, Algiers, and Tripoli alone enslaved 1 million to 1.25 million Europeans in North Africa, from the beginning of the 16th century to the middle of the 18th (these numbers do not include the European people who were enslaved by Morocco and by other raiders and traders of the Mediterranean Sea coast).[3] Roughly 700 Americans were held captive in this region as slaves between 1785 and 1815.[4] However, to extrapolate his numbers, Davis assumes the number of European slaves captured by Barbary pirates remained roughly constant for a 250-year period, stating:

"There are no records of how many men, women and children were enslaved, but it is possible to calculate roughly the number of fresh captives that would have been needed to keep populations steady and replace those slaves who died, escaped, were ransomed, or converted to Islam. On this basis it is thought that around 8,500 new slaves were needed annually to replenish numbers - about 850,000 captives over the century from 1580 to 1680. By extension, for the 250 years between 1530 and 1780, the figure could easily have been as high as 1,250,000.[5]"

Islam had African slavery down to a science hundreds of years before an African ever saw a European, and continues to openly practice slavery today. And...surprise....Muslims enslaved Europeans too. Ask Thomas Jefferson. He was infuriated in 1800 that the US was paying 20% of its annual government revenue in ransome and tribute to the Barbary pirates! Enter the Marines. Anyway, this book contains another part of the story.

The Stolen Village: Baltimore and the Barbary Pirates (9781847171047): Ekin, Des: Books Amazon.com (https://www.amazon.com/Stolen-Village-Baltimore-Barbary-Pirates/dp/1847171044)

In June 1631 pirates from Algiers and armed troops of the Turkish Ottoman Empire, led by the notorious pirate captain Morat Rais, stormed ashore at the little harbour village of Baltimore in West Cork. They captured almost all the villagers and bore them away to a life of slavery in North Africa. The prisoners were destined for a variety of fates -- some would live out their days chained to the oars as galley slaves, while others would spend long years in the scented seclusion of the harem or within the walls of the Sultan's palace. The old city of Algiers, with its narrow streets, intense heat and lively trade, was a melting pot where the villagers would join slaves and freemen of many nationalities. Only two of them ever saw Ireland again.

The Sack of Baltimore was the most devastating invasion ever mounted by Islamist forces on Ireland or England. Des Ekin's exhaustive research illuminates the political intrigues that ensured the captives were left to their fate, and provides a vivid insight into the kind of life that would have awaited the slaves amid the souks and seraglios of old Algiers.

The Stolen Village is a fascinating tale of international piracy and culture clash nearly 400 years ago and is the first book to cover this relatively unknown and under-researched incident in Irish history.

White Slavery in the Barbary States: Sumner, Charles: 9781389752803: Amazon.com Charles Sumner Published 1853 (https://www.amazon.com/Slavery-Barbary-States-Charles-Sumner/dp/1389752801)

Written by one of America's most famous slavery abolitionist activists of the mid-nineteenth century, this astonishing book provides a fascinating insight into a period of history now largely suppressed from view by political correctness-the time when at least one million Europeans were seized and sold into slavery by the nonwhites of North Africa. The author provides a full background to the Islamic slave trade in white people and includes little-known details such as how the Muslim pirates even seized groups of Pilgrims on their way to North America. "Their corsairs became the scourge of Christendom, while their much-dreaded system of slavery assumed a front of new terrors. Their ravages were not confined to the Mediterranean. They penetrated the ocean, and pressed even to the Straits of Dover and St. George's Channel. From the chalky cliffs of England, and even from the distant western coasts of Ireland, unsuspecting inhabitants were swept into cruel captivity. . . The author also points out the evil of slavery worldwide, and of how Charles V of Spain simultaneously fought Barbary slavery while granting European traders the right to export slaves to the Spanish colonies in the New World: "It is said that Charles lived long enough to repent what he had thus inconsiderately done. Certain it is, no single concession, recorded in history, of king or emperor, has produced such disastrous far-reaching consequences." A remarkable work which contributes to a greater understanding of the mentality behind slavery-and the reality that Europeans were as much victims of this evil practice as any other people.

White Cargo: The Forgotten History of Britain's White Slaves in America (9780814742969): Jordan, Don, Walsh, Michael Amazon.com (https://www.amazon.com/White-Cargo-Forgotten-History-Britains/dp/0814742963)

The forgotten story of the thousands of white Britons who lived and died in bondage in Britain’s American colonies

In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, more than 300,000 white people were shipped to America as slaves. Urchins were swept up from London’s streets to labor in the tobacco fields, where life expectancy was no more than two years. Brothels were raided to provide “breeders” for Virginia. Hopeful migrants were duped into signing as indentured servants, unaware they would become personal property who could be bought, sold, and even gambled away. Transported convicts were paraded for sale like livestock.

Drawing on letters crying for help, diaries, and court and government archives, Don Jordan and Michael Walsh demonstrate that the brutalities usually associated with black slavery alone were perpetrated on whites throughout British rule. The trade ended with American independence, but the British still tried to sell convicts in their former colonies, which prompted one of the most audacious plots in Anglo-American history.

This is a saga of exploration and cruelty spanning 170 years that has been submerged under the overwhelming memory of black slavery. White Cargo brings the brutal, uncomfortable story to the surface.

From Publishers Weekly

High school American history classes present indentured servitude as a benignly paternalistic system whereby colonial immigrants spent a few years working off their passage and went on to better things. Not so, this impassioned history argues: the indentured servitude of whites was comparable in most respects to the slavery endured by blacks. Voluntary indentures arriving in colonial America from Britain were sold on the block, subjected to backbreaking work on plantations, poorly fed and clothed, savagely punished for any disobedience, forbidden to marry without their master's permission, and whipped and branded for running away. Nor were indentures always voluntary: tens of thousands of convicts, beggars, homeless children and other undesirable Britons were transported to America against their will. Given the hideous mortality rates, the authors argue, indentured contracts often amounted to a life sentence at hard labor—some convicts asked to be hanged rather than be sent to Virginia. The authors, both television documentarians, don't attempt a systematic survey of the subject, and their episodic narrative often loses its way in colorful but extraneous digressions. Still, their exposé of unfree labor in the British colonies paints an arresting portrait of early America as gulag. 8 pages of photos.

"An eye-opening and heart-rending story" (The Times (London))

"This vividly written book tells the tale from both sides of the Atlantic . . . meticulously sourced and footnotedbut is never dry or academic...Jordan and Walsh offer an explanation of how the structures of slaveryblack or whitewere entwined in the roots of American society. They refrain from drawing links to today, except to remind readers that there are probably tens of millions of Americans who are descended from white slaves without even knowing it." (New York Times Book Review)

"“A colorful series of portraits of villains and victims, exploiters and exploited, rendered with bemused outrage." (Choice)

In this stunning debut novel, Kate McCafferty re-creates, through Cot's story, the history of the more than fifty thousand Irish who were sold as indentured servants to Caribbean plantation owners during the seventeenth century. As Cot tells her story-the brutal journey to Barbados, the harrowing years of fieldwork on the sugarcane plantations, her marriage to an African slave and rebel leader, and the fate of her children—her testimony reveals an exceptional woman's astonishing life.

The United States abolished slavery 150 years ago, and has affirmative action for minorities. It is the country that elected a Black president, Barack Obama -- twice! Yet, a new movement (https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/06/22/anti-statue-movement-has-taken-turn-into-absurdity/) is toppling one historic monument after another one, as if the US is still enslaving African-Americans. Today slavery still exists in many parts of Africa and Middle East, but the self-flagellating Western public is obsessively focused only on the Western past of African slavery rather than on real, ongoing slavery, which is alive and well -- and ignored.
