Mr. Grooters had been knocked down and killed close to the end of a 3,200-mile trans-America charity ride to raise awareness about the Gulf Coast oil disaster. He began his cross-country bike ride in Oceanside, California, on September 10th. Grooters's family and friends will cycle the final stretch of the journey from the Pacific to the Atlantic in his honour, raising cash to support Gulf Coast families. The capping of wells in the Gulf- for FUTURE use should have been an obvious clue. See the LW thread.... the US oil is being held back until other world events are completed. I always wondered why the Bakken oil fields were not developed. Those who believe in PEAK oil are fooled by the elite.

most people who commit suicide use far less painful techniques. i doubt that one is a suicide.


as for Matt Simmons, i have been a Simmons Groupie since about 2006. listened to all his webcasts, etc. he grew progressively more unhealthy during that time-frame. his commitment to honesty remained to the end - but he did not manage stress well. my guess is, his death in the hot tub was "normal" - it's normal for 67 year old men who are not managing their stress and are working a normal job (he had left his investment bank in Houston and was starting a wind-power company in Maine) AND maintaining a speaking schedule AND extremely worried about the BP spill ... a testament to the need for stress management & health management if you choose to become a whistleblower.

in order to know for sure, we would have to talk to his wife, about his behavior in the last week. fainting spells, need to lie down (not for sex, just to lie down), other signs of impending "system failure".


as for BP - formally the Anglo Persian Oil Company - had their jack-booted thug heel on the neck of Iran for nearly a full century - none more Talmud-worshipping than them.

BP Employees Death Threat and Slash Tires of Whistleblower


Editors Note: John Bolenbaugh (whistleblower) is a former oil spill clean up worker for Enbridge during the Kalamazoo Oil spill last year in Michigan.
Since John came out with videos exposing the poor clean-up he has been receiving threats, death treats, and even more harassment such as getting all four of his tires slashed on his vehicle.
This is the type world we live in now, one in which people have to actually make videos in advance just in case they are murdered.
The local police department is not responding to all of the threats John is receiving.

all Peak Oil means is that oil is finite, within any given time-frame.

the observation of Hubbert was that oil-fields tend to follow a bell-shaped production curve, and that the summation of those curves for a region also produces a bell-shaped curve.

of course, production can be altered, held back, delayed. also, the bell-shaped curve can be changed, using technologies that were not all available in Hubbert's time. so that basically they squeeze out oil that previously could not be recovered, or they go back to old wells that were not profitable at $50 a barrel and turn them back on.

but sometimes those augmentation techniques just deplete a well faster. also, sometimes, when they use water to push the oil out, the total production of a field is damaged - they get more oil out sooner, but the water cut in the oil that's left in the ground makes it not useful, with today's technology, at today's prices.


i think the reason ANWR has been off-limits ... it has been set aside for use by the US gov. and their friends at some future time, probably 2020 to 2050.

the US military will have first dibs on it.
