...that our broke ass government is threatening a shutdown 1 week before April 15th? Seeing as how we are at our debt limit, shutting down buys them time by not having to send out an estimated billions in tax refunds which would put us over the limit.

And still people remain seduced by the theater of government, when in fact we don't even need it. People still have not figured out that the whole institution is a fraud, perpetuated by debt, and controlled by the same entities government pretends to regulate. If the government "shuts down" it will only spite the little guy while the fat cats continue to drink the blood of labor from the masses.

This will be a good thing going forward. The American Government and its people is a drained asset and the powers to suck wealth with new Federal Reserve Bank fiat is better used at this time for banker bailouts, war and graft in the elite's global takeover ambitions. - Federal Reserve Spokesman.

Just the opposite. Most people getting big refunds file in February, and most people owing money file in April. So this would actually work against them.

Doesn't matter though. This is all theater to make it look like they're being diligent. The outcome is already planned. I suspect there will be an announcement soon that a deal has been struck.

The fact that the ceiling issue is only a month away tells me there will be no shutdown, because they don't want back-to-back high profile negativity. They need a short term "success" that has the appearance of them being competent.

I think it's timed like this to keep public support for spending. Propaganda has people thinking they ain't getting their refunds and theyll hop on board with "democrats" wanting to ensure people get what they want.
