Yes... the ONLY reason is the tanking U.S. dollar. Oh... and Japan is going to hell. Plus, Europe and the Middle East are in chaos, politically and financially. Oh yeah... also oil is is headed to the moon. The U.S. government is doing the "shutdown" show. And we're having crazy weather that's almost GUARANTEED to fuck with crops and the food supply this year - not to mention (but I will anyway! ;)) the radiation being dumped at sea to kill the seafood industry.
Other than that, it's ALL about the dollar! ;D

Also, after all these years, the suppression by the financial elite is beginning to crumble away, which might have something to do with it too. ;)

USD hitting new lows isn't the only reason the metals are shooting for the moon, I'd call it the 'kicker'.

I considered selling some a few weeks ago. Then I thought about the fundamentals behind my investment. Nothing has changed. Every reason I originally purchased silver for is still valid. I would be a fool to sell now, even if we are at such high prices. Much introspection led me to believe this will go higher. 40 will be a memory, just like the 12 days not so long ago.
I bought more today. :D

Metals are the true currency friend. What would you sell it for? FRN's? The dollar is flatlined and the majority of the population doesn't know it yet. Possession of only 1 oz is still more than the majority. Possession of 100ozs is paying $100 a day lately. Hang in there..

We are adding onto the house, kind of a large expansion, but if I wait a few months I'll have the FRNs so no worries there either.
If I had thought the fundamentals were different, I may have made another decision. I had to decouple the seemingly high price (which isn't really high) and the driving factors behind this. Poor government planning and monetary policies have caused this. Nothing indicates that either of these factors have improved. They have probably worsened in my mind, so I'm sticking to my bullish sentiment for Silver.

That is pretty much my feelings on the matter as well. Years ago I thought I would be selling at least some at these prices but the metals keep going up and the governments of the world keep making things worse so I am still buying a little at a time. If they ever seem to get their act together and start to raise interest rates aggressively or something I might change my mind or if everyone starts to jump on the silver band wagon but so far that is not the case.
