A student was taken to hospital after she yawned so hard during a lecture that her mouth got stuck wide open .

She has TMJ otherwise known as lockjaw. In the old days someone got to cold cock ya to get your jaw back into place but that caused a lot of damage in the process.

I think you can probably knock it loose, by putting the index finger on the lower teeth following the mandible, and tap the finger with a reflex hammer... I have never had a patient with a lock jaw like this, but I have adjusted several with TMJ dysfunction, using an activator...
