Old GIM'er here. SpecOps friend starting a survival related forum

Hey all,

Some of you may remember me from the original GIM. I still lurk on this site too just don't post like I used to. Anyways, I am active duty military and have a friend from the SpecOps community who has started a site dedicated survival type of discussions. Was hoping maybe some of you would check it out in your spare time, I know there is no substitute for GIM but it is something else to check out when bored and possibly learn some things from someone who has been to some pretty isolated and rough places in his career.

There are no commerical interests here and just sharing another site for like minded people that might possibly grow to contain some good discussions. The site is in its early stages so please keep that in mind. Big thanks to anyone who checks it out!

First off, I plan to start posting again. A big part of why my posting died down is that I got busy with my personal life and also I got sort of burnt out on everything. GIM1 split and also it seemed the further down the rabbit hole I went the most pessimistic and negative I became from feeling helpless about how screwed up everything is. Anyways I have decided to get back into keeping up on events and discussing it all etc. I miss the good discussions I used to take part in on here.

Lol, good to see some old faces here. To be honest I had been lurking on gim2.com for the past 6 months or so just because I thought that is where everyone was and then I came here after hearing about it and see some old faces here too. They talk a lot of smack about this site over at gim2
