Putting away some groceries from Aldi's, and I didn't notice until now:

The mixed fruit I bought (peaches, pears, cherries w/ a light sugar syrup ~ not HFCS) in a nice glass jar, is a product of CHINA. Ughhh!!

The fruit looks fantastic btw. Keep or return it??

Personally, I don't buy chinese food (in chinese restaurants or from supermarkets), but I reckon it's good enough for about a billion and a half chinamen.

Well, it's only 4 jars.

No in-laws.

I have to go back to Aldi's anyway to get more giant blueberry plants. Brought 1 home for hubby to ya/nay on it, and they need at least 2 varieties to pollinate.

$5.99 for the berries. Didn't pay attention to the rose prices, we ripped our rose bushes out years ago.

Eat it and get back to us on the quality.

You can't have too much fruit in your diet.

I don't think they did, maybe they need 2 varieties like you said to pollinate. ;)

I have too net mine or I have hundreds of Robins doing the dance under the bushes, they jump straight up and grab a berry in the beak and then use the body weight to pull them loose, it is quite funny to watch but they don't understand the concept of "Share" so I put nets over them

I purchased some chlorella through amazon.com...from a company called "Starwest botanicals" it was labeled USDA organic on the website...when it arrived it had no markings other than "Origin: China"

I returned it and left a bad review, not because of the simple fact that it was from China, but because they lied to me.
