How often do you see a cop haul someone out of the fast lane for traveling in a passing lane? I think this flew over the heads of some people. Personally I have never seen it occur.

My only complaint with this behavior is that the cop is following at an unsafe distance, measured in inches.

I have no problem with the maneuver, which simply took the individual out of the fast lane, with no harm done. This is actually good for the flow of traffic. Just don't follow so close.

I didn't understand what the cop did until you pointed it out. That cop should have given that jackass a ticket - but then again, he was a nice to let him off with just a scare. First off, anyone who sits in the passing lane with a cop car tailgating him for that long is a Darwin award candidate. If a cop car gets behind me, I get out of his sight and hopefuly his mind pronto.

Many drivers today do not understand the proper use of the passing lane. These are often young female drivers with a cell phone glued to one ear. When I find myself behind one of these oblivious babes, I fantasize that my car has a rocket launcher on the hood.
