Eiger in the alps it has been the target of speed climbers for a loooong time.

That is one crazy climb, must have felt great to get to the summit after that.

For Eastwood fans, this is a good movie on the Eiger, some good climbing scenes...

the normal west ridge route is reletively "easy" and from the summit photographers can rig up ropes to decend partway down the north face for picture taking
