Pro-gun advocates need to be much more outspoken about the benefits of an armed and (by default) polite society.

I can't see the video, but I know the bullshit they spout. I have had many many conversations with people about the right to bear arms, and the benefits of an armed populace.

For any of you that also advocate firearm ownership, and talk to people about it, I found a good approach that seems to get the point across with one sentence. Let me share a story.

There was an incident where a guy in one vehicle was chasing another guy in aother vehicle around on the highway. THey pulled into a parking lot of a busniess and were circling like mad, the angry guy chasing the scared guy.
The scared guy rolled his window down and screamed to a group of people, something to the effect of "You guys have got to help me! This guy already told me he is going to kill me! Please help me!" and then he continued to drive in circles, trying to avoid getting boxed in by his pursuer.
Well it ends up the pursuer got him boxed in so the scared guy had to stop his vehicle. The mad guy jumped out of his car, popped the trunk, grabbed a chainsaw, fired it up and started jumping on the hood of the other guys car, running the chainsaw across it, screaming like a madman, etc.

That's what the cops saw when they actually showed up! This guy jumping up and down on the hood of the other guys car, putting a chainsaw to it.

So they busted him, and in the newspaper all it said was that there was a "road rage incident that involved a weapon".


My brother told me the story. He knows some of the witnesses. He's anti-gun.

So single line I used that day was "That never would have happened if the driver was allowed to carry a gun". He agreed. He's anti-gun, but he knew it was true.

So I always use those types of circumstances to show that an armed society is a polite society. Anytime some crazy stuff like that happens, and there is a victim that could have neutralized the situation with a firearm, I point it out. It's nothing ground-breaking, but that's a good, simple line.

"That wouldn't have happened if (_________) was allowed to carry their own gun."

If we were all allowed to carry in Canada, we would never had lost poor young Jane Creba. Google it. God Bless her.

Shotgun preteen vs. Illegal alien Home Invaders...

Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home -alone 11-year-old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home .

It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay-shooting champion since she was nine.

Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his
12-gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.

Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee-crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.

When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death
before medical help could arrive.


It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45-caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David 0'Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.
