Speaking of pirates... Wednesday I had my booth set up at our local health and wellness expo. All the exhibitors were given a little stamp to go on a map of the tables. Guests with 20 stamps were then qualified to win an iPad2 in a drawing.

When someone would come up to my booth to ask for the stamp (mine was a purple pachycephalosaurus) I would wish them "luck on winning that eye patch". You know something odd? Only about 15% of the people responded in any way to that statement. It reminded me of the odds we face in a total SHTF scenario in the US. Was I being overly optimistic in expecting a larger number of people to question what I said?
