Note: in no video did I hear any sound.

Vid 1: This is NOT how to melt a penny with any efficiency. This is a natural gas stove burner and the penny is held in precisely one jet of flame out of the available 18-20 jets. A truly efficient melting would occur in under 10 seconds using this rate of depletion of this particular fuel source.

Vid 2: WTF is proven here?! That zinc has a lower temperature transference capacity than copper? Welcome to pre-1000AD science.

Vid 3: Good job cutting the video before any form retaining meting took place. Despite the title of the video we did not get to see a silver bar converted to a silver round.

Damn that was crazy Awoke!

Anyone here ever melt down their coins? I wonder if you could get the silver out of later '64 quarters for example?

Could be a good thing to have. I guess you could do welding with it also?
