I agree. There might be a lil more difference this time though? Yeah, I'm sure he'll be the brunt of a lot of jokes, as those of our ilk have been also. When a member of your Congressional Economic Committee and chairman of the House Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy tells you in no uncertain terms that your entire economic system is about to collapse and there will be madness in the streets, the appropriate response would be to ask him if he might have a solution to the problem, rather than chastise him for cutting a government entitlement at a point in some theoretical future scenario. We tried the latter, and it didn't end well.
