THE mastermind of the 9/11 attacks warned that Al-Qaeda has hidden a nuclear bomb in Europe which will unleash a "nuclear hellstorm" if Osama bin Laden is captured, leaked files revealed today.

The terror group also planned to make a 9/11 style attack on London's Heathrow airport by crashing a hijacked airliner into one of the terminals, the files showed.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed told Guantanamo Bay interrogators the terror group would detonate the nuclear device if the Al-Qaeda chief was captured or killed, according to the classified files released by the WikiLeaks website.

Sheikh Mohammed, the self-professed mastermind of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, has been held at Guantanamo since 2006 and is to be tried in a military court at the US naval base on Cuba over the attacks.

His nuclear threat was revealed in Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, one of several media outlets which have published the classified assessments of detainees at Guantanamo.

The German weekly Der Spiegel, also citing WikiLeaks, said that Sheikh Mohammed had told his interrogators he had set up two cells for the purpose of attacking Heathrow in 2002.

The aim was to seize control of an airliner shortly after take-off from Heathrow, one of the world's busiest aiports, turn it around and crash it into one of the four terminals.

Sheikh Mohammed said one cell had been formed with the aim of taking flying lessons in Kenya, while the other had been tasked with recruiting participants.

He said the plot had been discussed several times at the highest level of Al-Qaeda. One component had involved the infiltration of ground staff at the airport, according to Der Spiegel.

Another attack given the green light in late 2001 would have targeted "the tallest buildings in California" with hijacked airliners, Der Spiegel reported.

The attackers would have gained access to the airliner cockpits by setting off small bombs hidden in their shoes, it said.

Sheikh Mohammed, captured in 2003 in Pakistan, also claims to have personally beheaded US journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002 with his "blessed right hand" and to have helped in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing that killed six people.

Der Spiegel noted that his "confessions" should have be treated with caution as they could have been extracted through torture. Sheikh Mohammed is known to have undergone the method known as "waterboarding."

Former US president George W. Bush claimed in his memoirs published last year that using the interrogation technique - which simulates drowning - helped prevent planned attacks on Heathrow and London's Canary Wharf business district.

He also told the London Times newspaper in November that it was "damn right" that he had authorised use of the method on Sheikh Mohammed.

So the CIA or Mossad has a nuke hidden in Europe, then?

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The State Department is putting U.S. embassies on alert and is warning Americans abroad of possible reprisal attacks from al-Qaida and its affiliates around the world after the killing of the group's leader Osama bin Laden by American forces in Pakistan.

In a worldwide travel alert released shortly after President Barack Obama late Sunday announced bin Laden's death in a military operation, the department said there was an "enhanced potential for anti-American violence given recent counterterrorism activity in Pakistan." It said Americans living or traveling abroad, particularly in areas that have been hit by anti-American violence in the past should limit travel outside their homes and avoid large gatherings.

The alert said U.S. embassy operations would continue "to the extent possible under the constraints of any evolving security situation."

There are nukes operating in every developed country, right now, providing your electricity. They are weaponizable (I have to check if that is a word). These fuckers will pull out whatever distraction is enough to keep us from realizing the last distraction.

It's all improvisational play-acting. They know what to do just not when.

Strange that this threat comes out exactly one day before OBL is killed. What are the odds?

Another notable correlation is the $-5.00 drop in Silver on the same day.

There was something about embassies giving off lots of rads wasn't there?

So the guy who they say is not the guy who they say the guy is who admitted to planning to blow up buildings that didn't exist when he was in guantanamo. Didn't they drop the charges against him for lack of evidence?

Funny how the drop happened before the info was released?
Someone profitted by this inside info.

yes, similar to Nathan Rothschild & the Battle of Waterloo.

The $5 drop happened about 8 PM Eastern time. we were all wondering what the trigger was.

my guess is, insider knowledge of the alleged killing of Osama bin Laden.

it's like a false flag within a false flag. 9-11 was a false flag, and since they dumped a body at sea, we'll never know who it was.

The rumors about bin laden's death were bubbling for about a few weeks, so the recent al-qaeda threat didn't just come out of no where.

I wonder how feasible it would be to have a nuclear power plant failure due to stuxnet and then blame it on al-qaeda. someone wrote an interesting article about how many nuclear power plants around the world could possibly infected iwth stuxnet.

This is an excellent song that gets it right in terms of the MIC and politicians (read the lyrics).

And yes, the original title of the song was "Walpurgis Night" ... though they changed the title and the lyrics somewhat due to concern about being too "occult" ...

Concern Grows For Terrorist Retaliation After Osama Bin Laden Death (http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2011/05/concern-grows-for-terrorist-retaliation-after-osama-bin-laden-death.html)

ABC News’ Matthew Jaffe reports:

The top two senators on the Homeland Security Committee today voiced concerns that an individual in the United States might attempt to retaliate for Osama bin Laden’s death.

“I want to reassure everyone that all of our homeland security agencies are alert to those dangers and using every tool that they have to detect and, if necessary, prevent such an attack,” said the panel’s chairman Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn. “My own great concern in the days ahead is that a so-called lone wolf, a single individual who has been radicalized, will now mobilize himself or herself to take action here at home against the American people.”

See more of ABC's coverage of the death of Osama bin Laden.

“My appeal to the American people is please be alert,” he added. “This is a classic, ‘if you see something, say something’ moment.”

Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, the top Republican on the panel, echoed Lieberman’s fears.

“One of the concerns that I most have is that a home-grown terrorist will choose this moment to strike in an attempt to retaliate for Osama bin Laden’s death,” she said. “And that is why I was particularly pleased that at midnight last night the Department of Homeland Security, in conjunction with the FBI, put out a situational awareness alert which went to state and local law enforcement, homeland security officials across this country, giving them some intelligence information, telling them that they should prepare for an increase in attacks.”

So George Bush was right, just forget about Osama? Obama broke into The Apprentice last night to take direct responsibility for this. ::)

5 arrested under terror law near British nuclear plant

London (CNN) -- British police arrested five men on suspicion of terrorism near a nuclear power plant in northeastern England, they announced Tuesday.

The men, all in their 20s and from London, were arrested Monday close to the Sellafield nuclear facility after police officers from the Civil Nuclear Constabulary conducted a "stop check" on their vehicle, Cumbria Constabulary said. Cumbria Constabulary officers arrested the men.

There is no indication that the incident is linked to the killing of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in Pakistan, police said.

The suspects were held in police custody in Carlisle overnight and were to be transported to Manchester Tuesday morning, police said.

They will be questioned by an anti-terror unit there, police said.

Metropolitan Police officers searched four homes in east London on Tuesday in connection with the arrests, said the police force leading the investigation.

The suspects are being held under a 2000 anti-terror law that allows police to arrest suspects without a warrant and hold them for up to 48 hours without charge.

Roads were closed in the area briefly at the time of the arrests, Monday afternoon, authorities said. No further information was released.

Intelligence analysts are sifting through phone numbers and email addresses found at Osama bin Laden’s compound to determine potential links to Pakistani government and military officials while U.S. officials and analysts raise concerns about the safety of Pakistan’s nuclear materials.

According to three U.S. intelligence officials, the race is on to identify what President Obama’s top counterterrorism adviser, John Brennan, has called bin Laden’s “support system” inside Pakistan. These sources sought anonymity because they are not authorized to speak to reporters.

"My concern now is that we cannot exclude the possibility that officers in the Pakistani military and the intelligence service were helping to harbor or aware of the location of bin Laden,” said Olli Heinonen, who served as the deputy director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) from 2005 to 2010.

“What is to say they would not help al Qaeda or other terrorist groups to gain access to sensitive nuclear materials such as highly enriched uranium and plutonium?”

The U.S. has worried quietly about the infiltration of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and military for years. Those concerns heightened in recent months when the CIA learned that bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad was a stone’s throw from Pakistan's military academy.

Politico first reported this week that CIA Director Leon E. Panetta told members of Congress that bin Laden’s clothing had two phone numbers sewn into it at the time of the raid. Those numbers and other contacts found at the compound are key clues in an effort to determine what elements of Pakistan’s national security establishment provided support to bin Laden and al Qaeda.

“I can tell you that concern about al Qaeda and other terrorists’ infiltration into the ISI is not new on the part of the Congress or the [George W.] Bush and Obama administrations,” said Rep. Steve Rothman, a New Jersey Democrat who serves on two House Appropriations subcommittees that fund defense and foreign aid.

Mr. Rothman has attended top-secret briefings on the Abbottabad raid and the impact of the raid on Afghanistan and Pakistan.

“As a matter of course, and for good reason, the materials that were removed from bin Laden’s home in Pakistan are being run down for leads that could assist the United States in apprehending individuals or entities who have sought to harm Americans or who have enabled others to harm Americans,” he said.

Another U.S. intelligence official told The Washington Times that other phone numbers and emails were recovered in the raid.
