i know. i listen to glenn beck everyday for comedy relief. he's telling people today that we have to be even more vigilant now because the terrorists will want retribution.

you know, like after WW2 was over, we needed to bomb austria even harder.

You forget, it's a war on "terror", not a war against bin laden or even al queda. So, killing Osama really didn't matter, there's lots more "terror" we have to fight, don't you know.

Apparently we should repeal Due Process also.......No reason to stand a trial for crimes, just KILL them.

Yeah correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard somewhere that they sent in Navy Seals in to get OBL. Couldn't they have taken him alive? We've got operators that are good enough to kill the hard crust and leave the gooey center alive. My guess is that OBL was already frozen and saran wrapped prior to this announcement.

OBL has been dead for 10 years now. No way in HELL a guy with failing kidneys is going to cart around a dialysis machine in a mountainous region for 10 years evading Special Ops, and bombs on a daily basis.

If the bombs/special ops didn't kill him, his kidneys would have.

The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to continue... Good thing a "terrorist" is not easily defined, for the war...

I think we need random checkpoints (with drug testing) at the Capital Building in Washington. And pretty much every federal building in the country for that matter.

because of the security clearance level of the employees & contractors that did it, they could have sat around playing cards, played a sound-track of bombs going off to make it sound scary & authentic for the neighbors, lit a few fire-crackers to add some smoke, then wrapped a goat in a blanket and dropped it in the Indian Ocean ... and they would still be telling the same story.

even more important than the ability to rappel down a rope from a helicopter for this operation, was the ability to keep a secret to the grave.
