Just so I understand something on GSUS

I just want to be VERY CLEAR on this. For my part, I help build this place and I don't recall when gsus took this turn, which I think is for the worse.

Otherwise you are going to create big problems, Gaillo he is already a target
of this crap accusation, I come in and support him and get beaten up for it,
some trolls here have gotten away with a lot, I don't mind, too high standard
is free speech eroding,
describing someones posts as disgraceful is not a personal attack or describing
them as neocons, or commies, as they call us racists and NS, nazis, and get away
with it, nobody should be swearing at anyone. I been banned 2 times , never swore
at anyone blatantly, was threatened once for describing posts,
3 trolls did swear at me though and get away with it, they ain't alone, lots here
got away with a lot, I have no problem with that if it is one time disagreement, etc,
it is good for the forums to not be stuck on the letter.

Gaillo's my friend and we need him here, if I swear at people I demand Gaillo ban me.

I never lose my temper and attack a fellow member like some dobermans and pit bulls do. Over-consuming alcohol then logging onto GSUS seems like a bad idea too. I also value peer-group approval and just try to share the love here.

I have seen many being banned, even if it is for three days, for no good reason but if everything was just perfect that would mean that either we are dead and in heaven or that we are sitting at a table with a mirrow infront of us and talking to who we see there.

I think the ban hammer has been employed to freely lately. I don't remember the mods giving a public "cut the crap" before using the hammer the last few times. There might have been private pm's, but nothing public.

So how is it in my interest to "make that comment" exactly?!? :oo--> I am an occasional poster who has been a long-time member (under the same username) since the days of GiM. I don't have a high post count, but I don't get wrapped up in all the arguments here either. In my opinion YOU are the one who has an "interest" in people with high post counts being treated just like everyone else (gasp!), because it rankles you and destroys the sense of entitlement that you feel you deserve as a frequent poster. Well I've got news for you "General", you're no better than anyone else, you're just a "private" like the rest of us; and the fact that you can get banned just like anyone else here means that this is a WELL RUN forum. If you don't like it then leave and post elsewhere, instead of creating whiny threads complaining about a nice forum that was created for everyone who had the rug pulled out from under them when GiM was shut down.
