close to moving to VBulletin

It dosnt look like it is set up properly yet anyway .....so we are banned until then ....I guess.......unless they really mean it....... ;D

I hope it means vbulletin does a better job of tracking our log ins and posts for them. Because they're missing out on a lot when it takes me 10 minutes of typing my password and name to finally log in.

For those who are not familiar with this board and what is happening, we are planning on transitioning the forum to VBulletin software (this board is currently SMF). We will be gaining a more robust and secure forum, with more capabilities.

I am transitioning slowly, but surely. I sent out emails to reset passwords. The password reset appears not to be working for all of you. This is a reported problem for transitions, and I will find and apply the fix. This is why I am taking my time with the transition. Don't worry, I will not transition until I am confident things are going to work.

If the password reset did work for you, please let me know, also. I need to know if the problem is universal or just some people.

The password reset worked for me, but not all the posts are there yet. I went ahead and did the password reset, but I'm still hanging out on this forum for the time being.

I was able to reset my password to the randomly generated replacement password but cannot actually change it to something worth remembering since I am banned forever.

I wasn't sure if this is what we're to expect at this phase (the random password, I mean).

I think the newest post on that forum is the 20th March so probably going to be that way until the switch over I'm figuring.
