I've seen cell signal boosters advertised for low reception areas. Do any of these work? If so, which ones are best?
I live in a pretty remote area and get little to no signal. I would like to get a booster that would allow me to use my cell in my house and do away with the landline.

if you have at&t they sell a new little cancer-in-a-box micro cell.

i hear it works well. long term effects of having an open microwave in your house are debatable, however.

Looks like the microcell is a router specifially for your phone. You still need land line or satellite internet to run it.

Kind of pricey but definitely works. Has a little tube antenna that you mount in your attic or outside a high window, then you run cable to wherever you want the base unit. We live in the boonies and this has allowed us to get decent cell reception and 3G data. If I turn it off the signals all go to poop and the Interwebz crawls from poor signal.
