Never seen so many people there, all the counters were open and I had to park half a block away......last time that I was there was about four months ago and this time they had so many new electronics that even I didn't know what they are suppoused to do..........many full carts but very few with survivalist food of any kind.......from there I went to Harbor Freight and all the prices are also up as they were at ClostCo...I am glad that I bought all my junk long ago.........gasoline at $3.95 and in my Micky Mouse of a town at $4.19.

That was spent four days ago. It would be funny if it wasn't true. :'(

Need to get back to what the foodstamps were intended to buy and that is FOOD

One of the local news stations did a study here and found the debit cards are used quite frequently at the tribal casino cash machines around here.

Even fast food places are now taking ebt cards.........people could make that food themselves for 1/3 of the price.

The parents should also be forced to get off the couch and fix breakfast and pack a lunch for their kids with the food they are given instead of sending them off to school and expecting the school to do it.

I don't have a problem giving a person a hand up but am getting really tired of giving hand outs.

I always wondered what "EBT" stood for. That's a relatively new option on those electronic keypad thingies at the grocery store.

I've noticed at my local convenience stores & gas stations, the card machines now accept EBT cards as well. I suppose people like using their benefits for bags of chips, candy bars and overpriced bottles of soda.

I am halfway reading "One Second After".......the author is right on the money and the "Colonel" should have known what to do right from the first second........I mean, like, everthing goes off at the same time and he plays games trying to figure out what is going on?

What happened in the book will happen in real life and I would suggest that you buy the book and read it, go it at CostCo yesterday for a much lower price.........will it happen as in the book? I say YES for the simple reason that people will make it worse than what it has to be.

Get ready today for tomorrow, for tomorrow you won't be able to do it.
