This is a Must Read imo. I'm thinking he wouldn't have written it earlier, lest he risk being fired! I don't know the date it was written, but if this was previously posted, well, time to post it again!

555 PEOPLE –By Charlie Reese

"Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don’t propose a federal budget. The President does.

You and I don’t have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don’t write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don’t set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don’t control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 555 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but PRIVATE, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority.
They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I don’t care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator’s responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 555 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault.
They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits…… The President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes.. House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. If the President vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 555 people who stand
convicted — by present facts — of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can’t think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 555 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 555 people exercise the power of the
federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it’s because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it’s because they want it in the red ..

If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it’s because they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan …

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it’s because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 555 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like “the economy,” “inflation,” or “politics” that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 555 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power..

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.

Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees…

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!"

435 + 100 + 1 + 9 = 545, not 555.

also - what about Biden ? is it 546 ?

anyway, side-stepping his math, it's always good to see journalists tell the truth.

maybe someday they'll start a newspaper where that is standard practice ?! :sarc:

Long ago I discovered that everything is the way it is because somebody wants it that way. If it's not the way you want it, it's because somebody else wants it a different way. Things don't just happen accidentally.

This is when I switched from the 'accidental' view of history to the 'conspiratorial' view of history. Life has made a lot more sense to me since I made the switch.

I applaud Charlie Reese for pointing out how life is the way it is because somebody wants it that way. He's pretty optimistic to think those 546 people are going to politely accede to the public will if that goes against their interests. And that the people have the gumption to unseat them. Those 546 people take orders from a power higher than the people. And it's not God. And if they disobey, they're toast. Why don't any journalists have the courage to tell people all of it. The people need leaders--not politicians. But TPTB kill off all the leaders who oppose them.

that reminds me of Paul Wellstone, US Senator, who also died - in a plane crash. October 26, 2002.

the FBI van that left to investigate the crash, it was reported, left the office at a time that was, it turned out - before the time of the crash.

Wellstone was the only US Senator that voted against Bush41's Iraq War.

you can imagine how pissed he was, 13 1/2 months after 9-11. my guess is, Israel/ Mossad was watching him like a hawk. as the information about 9-11 rolled in, his early suspicions became vindicated.

i remember, within a week of 9-11, it was reported that Calif. politician Willie Brown got a phone call warning him not to fly that week. same for Salman Rushdie. what do they both have in common ? they're darlings of the Talmud worshippers.

i'm sure Wellstone saw similar articles, so he knew the US gov. had foreknowledge. he knew about WTC7. he knew it stunk to high Heaven.

my guess is, he started talking on the phone or to his aides about either stopping the impending Iraq War #2 (launched 5 months after Wellstone's death), and/or about 9-11 being an inside job.

he knew where the bodies were buried; he knew too much. plane crash time.

and the general public isn't smart enough to catch that it was an assassination.

https://deeppoliticsforum.com/forums/showthread.php?4835-The-Death-of-Sen.-Paul-Wellstone-(D-MN)

"On the day of the crash, several signs suggested to me that something was not right. The crash had occurred at about 10:22 AM/CT, but the site was not discovered until 11 AM/CT by Gary Ulman, the Eveleth-Virginia Airport assistant manager, who then landed and picked up the local fire chief so they could fly over the crash sitewhich was in a wooded, swampy areaand figure out the best way to bring equipment to the scene. Remarkably, when Rick Wahlberg, the Sheriff of St. Louis Country arrived there at 1:30 PM/CT, he encountered members of the FBIs Rapid Response Team from St. Paul, whom he knew personally, who told him that they had been there since noon. Christopher Bollyn, a reporter for American Free Press, noted in an article published on October 29, 2002, this was remarkable insofar as Gary Ulman had not notified them. Indeed, when I calculated the minimal time it would have taken to fly from St. Paul to Duluth, rent a car and drive to the crash scene, they had to have taken off at about 9:30 AM/CT, which was the same time the Senators plane had departed. It was very strange."

http://www.opednews.com/thoreau1203_wellstone_assassinated.htm

At a meeting full of war veterans in Willmar, Minn., days before his death, Wellstone told attendees that Cheney told him, "If you vote against the war in Iraq, the Bush administration will do whatever is necessary to get you. There will be severe ramifications for you and the state of Minnesota."

Wellstone cast his vote for his conscience and against the Iraq measure, the lone Democrat involved in a tough 2002 election campaign to do so. And a few weeks later on Oct. 25, as he appeared to be winning his re-election bid, Wellstone, his wife, Sheila, his daughter, Marcia Markuson, three campaign staffers, and two pilots died in a plane crash in Minnesota.

Talk about "severe ramifications."

My critique of the OP article would be that it omits the conspiratorial perspective, congress as a puppet show without alluding to TPTB/parallel-gummit, as well as the blackbox fake voting machines now (the "Help America Vote Act" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help_America_Vote_Act), little TPTB humor on display there)- shredding even the pretense of a true democratic republic, with the demrats, 'pugs & zio-MSM all playing along with the hoax.

This is when I switched from the 'accidental' view of history to the 'conspiratorial' view of history. Life has made a lot more sense to me since I made the switch.

I've been reading the information about history revision on EnterpriseCorruption.com, but it's not easy to (white text on black background). But here's some snippets:

"One musttake everything one hasever been told, taught, heard, thought, or assumes to be true about the history of the entire world and.. SHRED IT."

"History has been and will continue to be recorded just about as accurately as Arthur Anderson counts (counted) money. History is shredded, cooked, missing, and misrepresented. History is designed, developed, written and taught (force-fed)to make it appear that the phenomena of something called “globalism” and foreign nation-building and the “outsourcing” of jobsall started.. yesterday.

One cannot understand the future if one cannot understand the past. The hens arenot supposed to understand either. The hensare not supposed to know the henhouse’s past because the hens are notsupposed to know the henhouse’s future.

If the foxactually taughtaccurate history it would lessen theodds of being able to repeat it.

This is one of the reasons why administrations sign “executive orders” to close history.. to the public. It is also easier to give the public freedom of speech when you own history. History is not what actually happened but what the elite and the international banking cartels want societies to think happened. The revised, edited, and approved version of history reads.. like a bible. Actual history reads like the Wall Street Journal (before murdoch got his mits on it)."

"Every nation is the greatest nation in the world.. if you omit, revise, idealise, and romanticize most if not allof that nation’s history. Every nation teaches its citizens a little bit of truth about the “labor-versus-management” history.. of other nations. This explains whymore American citizens can tell youabout Russia’s labor history then they can about America’s labor history. Bringing up other nation’s negative historical dirty laundryand “labor-versus-management” truths ad-nauseum while carefully avoiding your own dirty-laundry is what makes those nations better enemies."

"So WhyIs History Revised?
Almost all traces of enterprise corruption have been removed from history.

Leadership, management, and central-plannersrevise history because it is impossible to learn and avoidthe mistakes of history if the facts of history are revised. Revisionist historyenables failure. Sincefailure is the goal, revising history is a tool to achieve that goal. If accurate economic history were taught in schools, government and banking would have a more difficult time pretending to fail."

"Enterprise corruption and white-collar crime is always eventually blamed on “failure of government”. The foxnever seems to learn from his (or her)mistakes.Government openly admits well in advance that government never learns from the mistakes of history. After all what did the hens expect? It was all one big experiment. That is why we f-cked it up. The “book-cooking” and “accounting fraud” part of history has been deleted and replaced with.. ideology and wonderful tales of romance and intrigue."

"Nobody Teaches Chronologically Correct History
Because the timing looks suspicious.

In the last 6,000 years there have been a minimum of 72 periods when globalization (paid for by enterprise corruption) was most in demand.

And the timing is suspicious at the very least.

Here is a list of the most popular and recognizable globalization dates in history from earliest to latest:

1200 B.C.
0 B.C.
1492
1607
1776
1812
1860
1931
1947
1987
1993
9-11"

"History that doesn’t include globalization, industrial revolution, wage-inflation, economics, technology transfers, and labor re-location, is revised history.

Intentional avoidance of these aspects of global economicsis why the public is fed a steady dietof pop-culture.

Government cannot globalize effectively without committing a very large amount of revision of history.

Government cannot globalize effectively without committing a very large amount of.. obstruction of justice.

Government cannot globalize effectively without committing a very large amount of..treason."

Yes, that's right. He's gotten some buzz due to his prediction of the last market crash (http://finance.google.com/group/google.finance.983582/browse_thread/thread/aad550b590f931bf), to the day (September 15th 2008).

Maybe you would like to tell us the White House is white too?

The context said nothing about the formal branches of government... but WHO rules and who makes decisions for your life. If you think the federal reserve does not fit that role, then ignoring the central banks might just make them all go away... nahh... didn't work. These criminals are co-conspirators with congress & the president.

Hatha Sunahara

The White house actually is white.

I was referring to the issue of the 555 number of people who hold offices in the formal (constitutionally prescribed) government. Regardless of how much power they have, the Federal Reserve banks are not a part of the formal government. However, I will acknowledge that they are an 'officially sanctioned' parasite on the nation. They are our owners. Their power trumps the peoples' power. We are their slaves. But they are not part of the government, and not accountable to the voters.
